Michigan Adventure

On Tuesday we went to Michigan Adventures. Well.....sorta. We got rained out in the morning. So instead of going back to school we went to a Museum. We were bummed about not being able to go to Michigan Adventures. But the Museum was fun. Since we were suppose to eat at Michigan Adventures we had to put our heads together and think, what were we going to eat and how. Then it hit us, what is better than pizza. So some of the parents went and got pizza. it was delicious. Then we looked outside and it had stopped raining!!! Ya!!!!! That meant we could go Michigan Adventure. Off we went. When we got there we went into our small groups. The first ride my group went on was Grand Rapids. Which was kinda a mistake because it was the first ride of the day and you get soaked. After that we were pumped up. We were ready to go on the big roller coasters. The first one we went on was Wolverine. It was sweet. Then we went on it again and we got stuck at the top just before we were about to drop. It was really exciting being stuck up there. After that we went on a couple more rides. Then.....we went on the biggest roller coaster there- Shivering Timbers. This one was huge and when we dropped my stomach dropped with it. Then we went to some more rides. We couldn't go to the water park though. It was to cold so it was closed. After all the rides we went to the gift shop and met up with the other part of the class. On the way to the gift shop we got Dip n' Dots. My favorite. Then on the bus we went. Two hours later we were back at school where our parents were going to pick us. When I saw my Dad I started blabbing on and on and on about how fun it was. Two field trips in one. What could be better. What a great time I had at Michigan Adventures.  ~Hanna H.

On Tuesday our class was going to Michigan Adventures. When we got there it was closed so we went to a museum. Then we had pizza and Michigan Adventures opened. So when we got there we rode a lot of rides. It was a lot of fun. ~Travis R.

Michigan Adventures was a blast.  I was afraid to go on thunder hawk but I then went on it and loved it. It was the best. Michigan Adventures was very fun. ~Aaron P.

Michigan's Adventure was so much fun. The first ride we went on was the Wolverine Wildcat. Oh by the way the people in our group were Caden, Aaron, Ian, and Me Dalron. My favorite ride was the ThunderHawk. This field trip was awesome! ~Dalron G.

May 28 we went to Michigan Adventure. It rained and they were closed. Everyone got bummed out when we went to the Lakeside Museum instead. But then they all got excited when the rain stopped and we got on the bus to go to the adventure park. When we got there we rounded up the gang and headed in. We were all in groups. My group was Me, My Grandma, and Chloe. We went on Mad Mouse, Lakeside Gliders, Tilt-a-Whirl, Loggers Run, Flying Trapeze,  Bumper Cars and Bumper Boats. Three Words: IT WAS AWESOME!!!!! ~Eleanor

I had so much fun at Michigan Adventure even though it was raining and we didn't get to start at the time we wanted to.  The water park was closed so we didn't get to go on all of the rides we wanted get wet on. There was still some rides to go on that you would get wet on like Grand Rapids, Log Runner,  and Adventure Falls. I loved Michigan Adventure and I hope to go again. ~Colleen M.

On Tuesday May 28th we went to Michigan's Adventure. It started to rain on they way down, but it looked like it was going to clear up so we weren't going to turn around. So as we were around five minutes away we saw lightening, then we knew most of the big rides were closed and the water park for sure. So as we pulled in we noticed all these other buses some were in a line but others were all over the place. Some even looked as if they were getting their tickets!! We sat in the parking lot and waited for all the parents that drove down to get there. As we were waiting one of the parents said that there was a museum about ten minutes down the road. Most of us were really bummed about that because we all wanted to go to Michigan's Adventure. There was a little problem about that idea though, how were we going to get lunch? We were suppose to get lunch at Michigan's Adventure but since we couldn't go in we had no way of getting lunch. Then one of the chaperones said that they would buy pizza for us. The museum was fun but it was kind of boring in some of the rooms. As we were exiting one of the rooms we saw a door with these huge windows in it, we could see outside. Outside it had stopped raining so we could go to Michigan's Adventure! We were all so happy it was like it was one of the best things that had ever happened to us. On the bus we all went crazy. When we pulled in for the second time it looked like there was not as many as the first, but we were all okay with that. First we split up into our groups. There was about four groups that all stuck together. In that group there was Colleen, Hanna, Ella, Emma, Savannah, Kylie, Alli, Griselda, and myself. We all had pretty big bags so we couldn't fit our bags in the lockers that were up front, so we went to go put them in the ones at the water park, but as we got there we saw gates closing it off and then we realized that it was closed. We went to ask if it was closed just to make sure that we were right, and they said that it was to cold. So we started thinking of what we could do with our bag while we went on the rides. Then the parents said that they would watch over our bags. We started thinking what ride we should do first as long as we were down on that side. Alli and her dad went on the Thunder Hawk while the rest of us went on Grand Rapids. On that ride you float down a river. About in the middle of the ride there are these things that you can put a quarter in and the people on the tube get blasted with water. My dad tried to put a quarter in it but it was broken. After we got done with Grand Rapids, we took a train to the other side of the park. When we got to the other side we went on Wildcat a few times. After Wildcat we went to The Log Runner which is pretty fun. We then decided that we would do Shivering Timbers, which is just a bigger version and Wildcat. It's a quarter mile long, not all of the girls went on it. Then some of us went to Mad Mouse while the rest of us went on The Hopper. On the Hopper you go up high then drop a few feet then drop again, then you go back up and just keep doing the same thing over. It is actually really fun. When we got done with that we went back to Grand Rapids and met up with a few of the boys. Then all of us went on this really big water slide. On that slide you take a train type thing and go up a hill and come down another, its all really high off the ground. When you come down you make this huge wave, it looks really cool during the splash. We did that about two times it was so much fun! After that we went on this other water slide. On this water slide there were two choices a green slide or a black slide. The first time Kylie and I did the black slide then we did the green one. On my third time I went with Colleen, we went down the black one. It was a ton of fun! After that we had just enough time to get a quick treat like an Icee or some Dip in' Dots. Then go to the gift shop. I had so much fun at Michigan's Adventure! I hope to go there again. ~ Sydnee

Yesterday we went to Michigan Adventure and my favorite ride was the thunder hawk and shiver me timbers. Thunder Hawk was faster than shiver me timbers and there were bigger  hills on shiver me timbers. It was so much fun.
