Springtime
by Savannah
It was spring.
Robins were chirping
Eggs were hatching
Birds were singing
Nature was humming.
It was like a beautiful
creation
It was art.
The hay was glowing
through the trees
While the horses were
asleep.
A deer was happy as can
be
With rocks under their
feet.
But the best thing of
all
Was the a
Big
Brown
Nest
With four blue eggs.
The Fort
By Chloe
That old fort
Is a symbol of the
French,
And how they came to
Michigan.
It was made of logs
And it’s a big old maze
It takes you through
time
It starts in the past
and leads to
The present
When walking through the
paths
There are many
Dead ends
The pictures show you
Why
And
When
The world came to be.
Be careful because
The walls can stop you
Right at your feet.
Big Blue Eggs
By Kylie
The big blue eggs were
rocks.
The creation was nature.
IF I was a bird,
I would loved to live
In that nest.
All that hay reminds me
of spring
It was art.
The Fort of Art
By Eleanor
There’s an old French
fort
That’s interesting
And “mazey” like
There are many dead
ends.
And pictures of weapons
There are exhibits of
Deer antlers
Wire
Coal
And farms
And at the top
There is a map at the
fort.
It is wooden with poles
outside
It is square, but there
are rocks in a circle.
I call it the “fort of
Art.”

The Robin’s
Nest
By Ajah
The sunshine shined on
the robin’s nest.
While the birds were flying around.
It was pretty and blue and colorful and natury.
It was made out of straw and rocks.
It was really creative and artistic.
When I saw it, I felt hatchy.
Redtails
By Sam
Foxes have retails
Airplanes are big
White pines are cool.
Trees are wood
Jets are powerful
Dogs are fun
Propellers are powerful.
The eggs
By Hailey
The eggs are little.
The trees are outdoors with me.
With twigs and leaves.
The grass is wet
The rocks are hard and shiny.
The next is with the tree.
The straw will blow and the sticks fly away.
AN the string will go fly away.

Fallen Comrade
By Elena
Fallen comrade has fell from the sky.
It is sad when he crashed into the ashes
But death has caught his wing.
When the fire has burned him he shall be brave from when he crashed.
Canons fire!
War has started!
Dark Clouds fill the sky!
Grenades are thrown!
War is done!
The soldiers that survived head home.
They drop their weapons.
They walk away but they never knew that old fallen comrade was left
behind.
