At the fifth grade recipe sampler all the recipes were great! I brought chocolate eclair. Sam brought bacon cookies. I had never tried bacon cookies. After it was over our class went to gym.  I had a great time and I hope our class does it again. ~Sylvia

Yesterday we did a recipe taste test. it was fun. I made peanut butter balls. They were gone fast. I tasted everything. I liked a lot of stuff. My favorite was D`s cheese cake. It had sprinkles. I loved the food. ~Chloe

The recipe sampler was petty fun! I like Brendan banana cake the most. Ben A. let me have three cookies. Because I'm his buddy! I like Ben A. cookies with milk. ~Jared

Yesterday we sampled everyone's recipe. I brought Hot Water Chestnuts. Every ones liked my recipe, and my friend liked my hot Water Chestnuts . My friend brought a cookies called Leb Kuchens. They were good. I loved the nuts and raisins ones. I wish we could do this again . ~Ashlee

For Christmas we made a class cook book. On the 20th our class made our recipes and the whole class got to try them. I didn't get to bring in mine. My recipe was Cauliflower Mashed Potatoes. I think the most popular were the Ham Balls made by Ben J. ~Katie B.

We made a recipe book in our class. We had to bring in the recipe so our class could sample it. It was fun to eat a lot of food. The good thing about is that we had lunch then read the did the sampler. It was very fun the food was yummy. ~Rylan

For the recipe sampler I brought in Magic Bars. I loved Gauges chocolate mouse. The ham balls were good to. My favorite was the chocolate eclaire. We were the second table picked. There was pop like Fago twist and rootbeer. There was also tea that tasted like lemon. I got a stomach ache and had to go home early. It was a fun time. ~James

At the recipe sampler most of the the fifth graders brought in their favorite recipes. I brought in my grandma's banana cake. My favorite recipe that wasn't mine were ham balls. I also liked Ben A's soft sugar cookies. It was really fun and tasty. ~Brendan

It was recipe day. We had to bring in a recipe sample. The recipe we brought in was our favorite recipe. James brought in a magic bar recipe. I brought in easy chocolate mousse. It was really fun. ~Gauge

We had a classroom recipe sampler. My recipe was hamballs. We did it because we were making a classroom cookbook. It was a Christmas present to our parents. My favorite recipe was my own. The sampler was on the Tuesday before Christmas break. There was a lot of different foods there. ~Benjamin J.

When we did the recipe sampler It was very fun but not a lot of people liked mine. I really liked everybody's. Then when we were almost done we went to gym! I was so full. When we got back to the room It smelled very good. Sylvia brought in chocolate eclairs, witch were so good. Amanda brought in yummy apple sause. I hope the next fifth graders make recipes! ~Samantha

 Yesterday we had to bring are recipes in then we can taste them. I brought in my Great, Great, Great Grandmas recipe. It was called Leb Kuchens. Their was nuts, raisins, molasses, wine (Sparkling Grape Juice). My friend brought Hot Water Chestnuts. They were really good and she liked my cookies. Their was allot of good stuff that I wanted to keep some then I can bring them home for my parents to try. Their was this tea called Friendship Tea. It was so good, I loved it and it wormed my belly up. This is what we did with are recipes. ~Haley

It was recipe sampler day on Tuesday . The teacher first picked the middle table in the front. Then she picked all the other tables I first got the meat balls that's what I can remember . That was the best day ever and it was good. ~Kyle

We made a Recipe that we had to bring in the class to share with the kids. I made molasses cookies. They were good. The other kids made stuff to like ham balls and cookies. The cookies were so good and the ham balls were good too. We had to go to gym. The sampler was fun. I wish i could do it again. ~Aric

Yesterday was our recipe sampler. I sampled a gingerbread boy, some banana cake, some chocolate moose, a peanut butter and
chocolate ball and a nobake cookie. I made the gingerbread boys. My Mom actually made them. It was a fun time! ~Jarrett

When we did recipe sampler well I forgot my chocolate chip cookies. I got to taste other peoples recipes it was fun going around the table looking at other peoples. It was not fun when we went to the gym because i almost through up. We played capture the flag in gym it was fun. when we got back to our class room we got to go through the line again. I hope we do it again next year. ~Haley
