My class went to White Pine Village. We went on October 6, 2011. White Pine Village is a historacual old town. I was in Blake’s mom’s group. Our group went to the old post office first, then we went to the doctors office. After that we had ice cream, I had strawberry. White Pine Village was a blast. ~by Dalron

    This year my class went to White Pine Village. We got there on the bus. When the bus got there I was excited. We had to be in groups. In my group was Griselda, Keira and Keira’s Mom, Jodi. For lunch we had cookies, a sandwich, and pickles. After lunch we looked  around some more and then we got ice cream.  I had chocklot.  We got to make cookies that were suppose to look like acornes.   At the end of the day we road the bus to school. Then we went home. I hope I can go to White Pine Village again. ~by Kylie

    My class went to White Pine Village . When we arrived at White Pine Village. We got off the bus, and find a spot for are lunches. We wanted to go the candy store. After that we went to mzm . This year my class went to the White Pine village. That branch that I am holding is called a white pine. The area I am in there was an acorn that you can create out of food. We were finding answers about the White pine village. There was a big school. When I herd that if you are a bad student you will get poked or get beat by a stick. Senes I heard about it I was scared. This year for science the fourth graders had to make a simple machine.  It was fun to make a pulley for science. We could make a pulley, inclin plain, wedge, scrow or a wheel and axsil. A lot of people made pulleys and wheel and axsils. A lot more people made a wheel and axsuls. I think they were the easiest. Some of the wheel and axsils were really good and looked like they took some time. Before I made my pulley I thought it would be really easy. Instead it turnd out to be cinda hard. When my pulley was all done it looked a little boring. So I thought it shoud look a little more cool. So I went in the basemint and fond the last box of sticers. I opend them up and decratid my pulley. I think a lot of people liked mine. I had a lot of fun making a pulley. I hope I get to do it again. ~by Chloe

This year my class had a field trip at White Pine Village. It was awsome! Kelly, Kaylie, Mrs Eichberger, and I were in a group. First we went on the bus. It was a long way to Ludington but we made it. First we went to a tree were we set all of are stuff and we went to the gift shop. I bought two necklesses and a mood ring. Then we went to an other cool buildings like the Musame, Music place, the Post Office, the Hard Ware Store and my favriot the animal cage. Its the building in the picture. It had a huge fire place and a lady was telling storys. After that we ate. Later we had lunch I had a sandwitch, choclet cover peanuts and fruit. Then we hit some more buildings and a hay ride and headed to are school. I hope we can go to White Pine Village again. ~by Savannah

 I had a fun time making circuits with Mrs. Catanese. When we made our circuits we made two types of circuits. The two types of circuits we made were series circuits and parallel circuits. First we made series circuits. A series circuit makes it so if you turn one light off then all the lights off! Don’t you think it would be hard to live if the lights in your home were run on a series circuit? I do! Next we made parallel circuits. Parallel circuits let you  turn off one light and keep all the other lights on. On the second day we  did the circuits Mrs. Catanese let us connect as many circuits as we want! We connected about eight circuits! It was pretty long. We made the circuits out of spare wires, extra batteries, and small light bulbs. At first we couldn’t get the hang of it. It turns out the bulbs were out! After we changed the bulbs it worked. When Mrs. Catanese turned out the lights our circuit glowed bright. In my opinion, our circuit was the brightest. When we turned the lights back on we made our circuit bigger. Our circuit took up two desks. I had a fun time making circuits. ~by Eleanor

    This year we made lights in science. This year Joel and I made lights. We had so much fun this year. I wish I can do this again. Joel and I are best friends. Joel and I were the first ones to get lights this year. Joel left to go to Texas. Joel and l  are best friends. ~by Matthew
 

    My first hat day at Onekama School was awesome. I got my favorit hat and got my backpack on got in are van and went to school. At first I thought people would laugh at me, but it actlele turned out grate! Once I went to breakfast everyone was loving my hat! I went to my classroom my teacher said how grate my hat was! This day was getting better and better! My freind Maddie (right) was wearing a fadora hat. After school I told my mom how grate my day I had. I wish we could have another hat day.  ~by Magnolia

We had hat day at Onekama School on Homecoming week. I thought every one’s hats were great. I loved the hat day of 2011. If I had a chance to go back in time to hat day, I would do it. I had a great time wearing my hat on hat day. It was also a very weird day to the weird part is when I saw all my friends in there favorite hats. My favorite hat was the purple sparkly one it was a awesome hat. I had a great day on hat day. ~by Madeline

This year I like to play wall ball at recess. Wall ball is a game where there  are some balls and people.  When you kick a ball and someone catches the ball you are out we kick the ball at basketball. I also like to play football. We switch in the morning and in the afternoon. I also like to play  basketball. I have a lot of friends. My favrit subject is math. That is something I do in school. ~by Austin

 

For Halloween I was a witch.  My friend  Kaylee was a cat. We had fun. We played pumpkin bowling and We played pin the tale on the witch and we had a fashion show. We had to go to gym and after gum we went to recess. We had to go inside and my mom was here. After that we had to clean up our class room. My mom pick me up. Halloween is fun.  ~by Taylor Y.  

  I had a blast this football season. My first game was at home field. We won are very first game 33 to 6 was the score. Football practis was great. We had to run a lot around the track. I did a lot of push-up and pull-ups. I kick a football in the goal too! I had a great season.

    This year my class went to White Pine Village. I went with my Grandma, Mom, Joel, Jackson and Zack. We had to drive their it took us one hour. I had so much fun. We went on a hay ride it was so much fun. We went to a School, Black smith shop, Ice cream shop and Post office. Then at 2:00 we had to leave and go back to school then go home.
