    John Fitzgerald Kennedy was our 35 president of the United States of America. He served as a president from January 20, 1961 to November 22, 1963. John F. Kennedy was 44 years old when he became president. Though his name was John F. Kennedy some people called him “JFK” for short. JFK was born in Brooklyn, Massachusetts on May 29,1917. President Kennedy died on November 22,1963 in Dallas, Texas when he was 46 years old. He married Jacqueline Bouvier on September 12 ,1953, she was born 1929 and died in 1994. Their kids were Arabella (1956) Caroline (1957) John F. Jr. (1960-1999) Patrick (1963) . The college that JFK went to was Harvard, and graduated in 1940.Some of President Kennedy jobs were an author and being in the Navy. John F. Kennedy’s political party was Roman Catholic and his religion was Democratic. JFK was assassinated on November 22 1963. He was the youngest president to be elected and the youngest president to die. When John’s PT boat was sunk but Kennedy led his crew to safety . John Fitzgerald Kennedy was a spectacular president.

    Thomas Jefferson was the third president of the United States. He served as president from March 4, 1801 to March 3, 1809. Thomas became president at the age of 58. He was nicknamed “ Man of the People.” He was born on April 13, 1743 in Shadwell Virginia and died July 4,1826 in Monticello. Thomas married Martha Wayles Skelton and graduated from the college of William and Mary. He was a lawyer and a planter and had no formal religion. Jefferson’s political party was a Democratic Republican. Thomas doubled the size of the the United states by arranging for the Louisiana purchase and was first vice president of John Adams. Thomas Jefferson was a fasinating president.

His college was Stanford University in 1891.Before Hoover was president he was an engineer and an administrator. His religion is a Quaker. President Hoover’s political party was a Republican. He grew up in Oregon. Lou Henry and him went up to China to take a little trip. President Hoover was a super dupper president.

He was born September 15, 1857 in Cincinnati Ohio. He died March 8, 1930 in Washington, D.C. . William H. Taft was married to Helen Herron. President William graduated from Yale in 1878 then graduated from Cincinnati Law School. Before becoming the president William was a lawyer and a public official. His religion was Unitarian and his political party was Republican. William H. Taft was the largest president. He was six feet tall and was three hundred pounds!  William had once got stuck in a bath tube. He had a special bath tube made to fit him shortly after. William H. His political party was Republican. Some interesting facts about President Taft are that he was the largest  President weighing 332 pounds and six feet tall. Another fact is that he was the only president to get stuck in a bathtub. President Taft was an awesome dancer and tennis player. The last fact is that he was the first president to own a car.     George Washington was the first president of the United States of America. He was 57 when he became president and served for eight years. His nickname was “Father of His Country”. President Washington was born on February 22, 1732, in Westmoreland County, Virginia. Sadly, his retirement did not last three years because he died due to a throat infection at the age of 67 on December 14, 1799, at Mount Vernon, Virginia. President Washington married Martha Dandridge Custis and they had six kids. He had no formal education. His job was a planter and soldier. Washington’s religion was Episcopalian and his political party was Federalist. An interesting fact is that when in war, he escaped injury when four bullets ripped his coat and two horses were shot from under him. Another fact is that he was the only president to take the Oath of Office in two different cities. George Washington was an incredible president.

Abraham Lincoln got married to Mary Todd and they had four children. They were boys. Only one grow up to be a adult out of four. He was the first president to be assassinated. My last cool fact is that that some people say that Abraham Lincoln was a vampire hunter. There is a movie coming out Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. A very sad day came on Friday April 14,1865 in Ford’s theatre in Washington. Abraham Lincoln was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth. Abraham Lincoln was a great president who helped stop slavery!

Dwight David Eisenhower

Dwight David Eisenhower was the 34th President of the United States. He was born on October 14, 1890, in Denison, Texas. He was a Presbyterian. He graduated from the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, New York, in 1915 and became a soldier in the U.S. Army. In 1916 he married Mary Doud, who was known as “Mamie.” They had two children: Doud who died at the age of 3, and John who also became an Army officer. He was an outstanding military officer who commanded all of the troops in Europe during World War II.  In 1948, Eisenhower retired from the U.S. Army. He then became the President of Columbia University in New York City. Eisenhower was very well liked in the United States and ran for President in 1952 as a member of the Republican Party. His nickname was “Ike” and Americans said, “We Like Ike.” He won the election and became President at the age of 43.  He was the first President when our country included the 50 states we know today. Eisenhower ran for a second term and was re-elected. He served for eight years, from 1953 to 1961. He enjoyed the game of golf so much that he built a putting green on the lawn of the White House. Dwight David Eisenhower died on March 28, 1969, in Washington D.C. at the age of 78.
