Ms. Eichberger’s Class Halloween Party Information -Friday, Oct. 29

Student families are invited to our Halloween party.  We will begin at 11:45 with changing into our costumes.  Our first activity will be a Halloween toast and a costume show, done runway style with music and lighting.

Students will then entertain us with their own original spooky stories, written this week.  The scariest story will be judged by the audience and the winner will receive a prize.

We will also have a costume contest with prizes for the following categories:  scariest,  silliest, and most creative, and best hand-made costume.

Other activities will include, fortune telling, pumpkin bowling, a gourd hunt, and dancing.

I will need two parent volunteers.  One to be the buffet supervisor and one to supervise our pumpkin bowling game in the hall.   If you are up for doing either of those jobs let me know upon your arrival on Friday.

Our school has adopted a wellness initiative with the goal of helping children to establish healthy lifestyles through conscious nutrition and exercise.  Candy is allowed at Halloween parties, however it should not be the primary consumed food. We appreciate your support with our wellness initiative

If you wish to provide food or items for our party, we are in need of the following.

  1. apple cider (please, no soda or drinks containing high fructose corn syrup)

  2. cups

  3. plates

  4. napkins

  5. six clean and empty plastic soda bottles for pumpkin bowling

  6. cookies

  7. apples

  8. cut-up vegetables  with dip (hummus or ranch dressing)

  9. pretzels

Your child may bring in these items or they may be dropped off to our classroom prior to 11:30 am.

Thank you and we hope to see you at the party!
