At
white pine village my favorite part was the Marchido school house. I
liked it because we got to go inside. There was a pretend teacher. She
told us stuff they would do. We got to sit in the chairs. They also let
us write our names on the slates. We went in the William Anderson Sr.
Hardware store. They had old horse bits, toaster, and light bulbs. There
was a person in there too. He told my group about a lot of the stuff in
there. ~Hope S.
On October, 7, 2010 we went to
White Pine Village for a field trip. I went to a trapper’s cabin. It was
so cool. There was animal fur every where. The saw mill was cool too.
There was a giant saw thing. It was cool seeing the wood getting cut in
half. The Courthouse was cool also. We got to see the prison. The field
trip was fun. ~B.A.
I
went to white pine village on 7. I went with my mom and my class. I went
and I saw a lot of old stuff and house. I liked the trapper's cabin and
lot I saw fox fur and a lot of other fur off animals. I also saw the
doctor’s house a kid swallowed a penny and a other kid swallowed a
toothbrush. I saw the old chapel there was a girl that lived for four
mouths. I liked the post office I saw stuff they used back then that
they don't used today. They use a scale to their boxes back they were
small boxes and they were big scales. ~ By: Rylan
White
pine village is fun because white pine village had antiques. The school
has a stick and a flag 44 stars instead of 50 stars. Then we went to the
chapel it was cool because it had an organ. The lady told us where we
half to go. Then we had to go I wish we get to go agin. ~K.C. |
On October 7, 2010 we went to White Pine Village. We had to
fill out a sheet of what we saw. My partner was D'Annglo. Our chaperon
was my grandma. The first thing we did was we went to the saw mill. Then
we went to the trappers cabin. WE saw a otter skin, a skunk, deer, red
fox and a coyote. Then we went to the fist Mason County courthouse. We
saw the jail. Then we got to sow. Then we went on a hay ride. Then we
went to the Black Smith Shop. There were a lot of tools. Then we went to
the school. There were 15 minute classes. When I went Ben J. sat in
dunce chair. The last thing we did was got ice cream. IT WAS FUN!!!

On
October 7, 2010 my class went to White Pine Village. We went to an old
schoolhouse. I got to sit in the dunce chair! Everybody got to laugh at
me and make faces. We also went to a trapper's cabin. It was very cool.
There was red fox pelts, coyote pelts, gray fox pelts, beaver pelts,
otter pelts, and some more. It was also used as a post office it cost 45
cents to send a letter. Then, we went to a place where a man made apple
cider. He told us the difference between apple juice and apple cider.
The man told us apple cider is healthier than apple juice. The sawmill
was pretty cool too. There was a huge tractor-powered saw. There was a
conveyor belt to carry out sawdust. Then a man who ran the sawmill took
us into 2 different cabins. In one we got to build mini cabin out of
huge Lincoln logs. White Pine Village was fun. ~B.J.
