Once Again Mrs. Brown's Class Helped
at the Salvation Army
 My trip to the Salvation Army was fun. First we made boxes. Then we made an assembly line. Then we started to put can goods in them. My hole class went. We made 550 boxes in all. We had a room full. I had a lot of fun. We went on December 10, 2010.

One day we went to Salvation Army. We had all kinds of jobs we could do. I did box maker, assembly line, and box stacker.
I liked box maker the best. It was fun to do. I liked the music we were playing. We all had a great time. ~Jarrett B.
On the day December 10, 2010 went to salvation army. We had a lot of fun we had made boxes. We all did an assembly line. We did this for people that cannot aford dinner for Christmas .For lunch we had little ceaser pizza and for drink we had fruit punch. We had to take boxes and fill them with food. We had to fill boxes food an put them stacked in a room.

I had a good time filing boxes. The pizza was good and my favorite little cizzers pizza. Mrs. Brown thanks for letting me use a Santa hat. I can't wait until Christmas brake. Well Friday was cool. I hope to do it again ~Jodi
On December 2010 we went to Salvation Army and made boxes and and stacked them. After that we made more boxes and stacked them. Later we all ate pizza and then we stacked more boxes. When we made 500 we left and thanked the people and then we took a picture of us next to the Christmas tree. When we were done we went back to school. ~Triston

Last Friday my class and I went to Salvation Army. At Salvation Army I help make food basket. We made food baskets for people that can't afford food. We made a assembly line for the boxes so the boxes could get to to there places. In the middle of the time we ran out of stuff so we had to get a marker to write letters on. We ended up maker 500 boxes. I love going to Salvation Army! ~Zoe

We went to Salvation Army on December 10,2010.We made 500 boxes and we filled food into all 500 boxes for people who doesn't have food for a Christmas dinner. We put together 500 boxes and we made an assembly line. We ate pizza. Then we walked to the tree and got our picture taken.  ~Rosa

 On December 10th we went to the Salvation Army. When we got there they explained what we had to do. I had to fill boxes first. Then I made boxes. Making boxes is hard, your hands get all dry and you get all cut up. We made a lot of boxes. At 11 o'clock we had lunch. For lunch we had pizza and punch. We made 500 boxes. After we were done with lunch we had to go back to work. I kept on making boxes, but then we made all the boxes so we started to break boxes apart. Then we had to put the boxes in the back of a van. After we were all done at the Salvation Army we went down to the big Christmas tree that was in the Sleighbell parade and we took a picture with it. After that we got on the bus and went back to school. I had a lot of fun! ~Emilee

My class and I went to Salvation Army on December 10th. When we got there we had to form a assembly line put food in food baskets and then stack them up. We ran out of stuffing and had to put S's on the boxes so the owner there new what boxes to put stuffing in. After that we ate pizza. By the end of the day we made 500 boxes!! On December 10 2010 our class went to the Salvation Army. We went there to help them fill boxes with food. First I Stated out taking boxes to the back. Before we switched jobs I had taken back a good amount of boxes. Then when we switched I was a shelf restock person. Me and Triston were at the same spot. We got bored and built a tower out of cereal. Later we all ate some pizza. When we were done we all got back to work. In the end we made 500 boxes of food. After that we got our picture taken by the tree from the parade. That's what I did at the Salvation Army. ~Jeremiah T.

My trip to salvation army was a very fun trip. It took me a while to get used to doing the stuff. After that short time it got really fun. After a while we all ate pizza. When we all got finished eating we went back to work. We all had so mutch fun that we didn't even know what time it was. We got finished with all our boxes so we went to get our picture taken. After they took our picture we got on the bus and went back to school. That is my story about our trip to salvation army .

Last Friday we went to the Salvation Army. That is where you help the poor people get food. We had to make the boxes and fill them full of food. Then someone would take them and put them in the back. We had to make 500 boxes. luckily some people already made half. So we had to make 250 boxes. At about 11:00 we had pizza and pop. It was sooooooo good. After that we had to take a picture of us by the big Christmas tree. The one where the Big Belgian/Draft horses pulled. It was fun giving back to the community.   ~McKenzie

On December 10 we went to the Salvation Army. At Salvation Army we put together boxes to put the food in. There were a lot of boxes to put together. In two or three hours we had pizza. When we were done eating pizza we went back t work. When we were done working we had 500 boxes made and food in. After that we went outside and took a picture of our class with the Christmas tree. Then after that we back to the school and went home. I had a fun time at the Salvation Army!

 On December 10th my class went to Salvation Army. We had an assembly line for making boxes. We got to drink punch I stained my shirt with it on accident. Then for lunch we ate pizza and it got on my shirt but when I got home my mom used oxi clean to clean it. It was clean so if you ever get a stain use oxi clean. We made 500 boxes of food. Some people made boxes to put the food in. After we got are picture by the Christmas tree. It was a fun trip!  ~P.S. it's Faith C. and Merry Christmas

 For our field trip to Salvation army we got to do a lot of stuff. I made boxes most of the time. It was really hard to make it but I got the hang of it. After a while of making boxes we got to eat pizza. It was Little Ceasors pizza. We had to make 500 boxes of food. It took a really long time to get done. When we finally finished we got a picture at the tree they showed in the thanksgiving parade. There was one good one and one funny one. The field trip was really fun and I had fun.  ~James E.

In early December Mrs. Brown's class went to Salvation Army where we had a lot of fun. Rylan and I made like 20 boxes. After I made boxes I had to bring boxes that were all ready made in to the room. We had a big assembly line to put the food in boxes for the the people with out the money to afford the food. After we got half way done we ate lunch. We had pizza for lunch and little hugs for our drink. We had to stuff 500 boxes for the poor. When were finished the we got a picture by a very big Christmas tree. It was a good time.

On December 10, 2010, Mrs. Brown's class went to the Salvation Army. We made and loaded boxes. I did 3 jobs at the same time. I made, loaded, made, and shipped boxes. It was a lot of work! Working there was fun. For lunch we had Little Ceaser's pizza and fruit punch. I felt kinda sick after I ate. We went right back to work after we had lunch. The boxes got put in a truck. In the assembly line, we ran out of stuffing. When we were finished at Salvation Army, we went to get a picture by a giant Christmas tree. Then we were done for the day.    ~Ben J.
