Looking Back to 1975

Remember the days the elementary library was in a converted storage room off the furnace?  Probably not unless you were born way back when...

Not only was the elementary library in the converted furnace room, but the speech teacher met her students there as well.
Top photo: The teacher in the top photo is Helen Oleson who taught third grade with Sadie Christensen for years after Newland School closed. She was the last to teach in that one room school. It must have closed shortly before 1970. Bottom Left: Barb Anthony was the elementary librarian for many years.
