We were the Americans.  The Olympic ceremony was about the Olympic Winter Games.  Kevin lit the torch.  We made flags.  There were different countries. ~Max H.

Today we went to the Olympic ceremony. It was really cool. There was torch lighting, the 3^rd graders did a dance showing all the winter events. Our class did the United States flag. Mrs. Eichberger was announcing some of the classes with their flag. Some of the 3^rd graders announced some too. It was really cool. I can’t wait till the next Olympic ceremony! ~E.M.

On February 11^th we had an Olympic Ceremony. I was a torch runner in it. We represented the United States Flag. Mrs. Eichberger hosted it. Her class did a dance in the center. It was neat.  ~Faith

Thursday February 11 2010 my class and I went to the Olympic ceremony.The Olympic ceremony is about when all the Elementary kids make flags. Like Canada China and so on my class was America. The third grade did a dance. When the ceremony was ending the Elementary ran around the gym floor when my class and I around the circle every body in the stage started hooting and hollering for my class because we had the American flag.

Former 4th Graders Cheer for the Olympians -->

At the Olympic ceremony there was different country’s Like Italy USA germen and more. When USA Walk up they all cheered and they cheered for others. There was music All over the place. And then they pass the torch and it finally got to Kevin and then he lit the fire. Then at the end kids got up and copy thing off the board. After that the country’s got up and walk around the fire. I had a lot of fun. ~A.L.

The Olympic Ceremony was about representing our country. Our country was the U.S.A. Our class had to walk around the gym 2 times then walked out. We had fun. ~J.M.

The Olympic ceremony was cool. I got to light the torch. My and I were the U.S.A team. Mrs. Eichberger‘s class did a dance. Olympic music was playing. ~K.N.

  For the Olympic Ceremony are class is the U.S.A. There were so many countries. Then some kids came up and did a dance. Then Faith   basted the torch to Kevin. Then Kevin lit the torch and we left. ~Katelynn

On 2-11-10 my class and I went to an Olympic Ceremony in the gym. My class and I were the U.S.A. Kindergarden all the way up to fifth grade had a certain Country. It was cool. Third grade put a dance for the winter Olympics. I had a lot of fun. ~A.B.R.

The Onekama Olympic ceremony was on February 11, 2010. The Onekama schools did a version of the Olympics opening ceremony. It was very fun. Mrs. Eichberger’s class did a dance of all the events that are in the Olympics. Then at the end all of the classes walked around the cauldron and went back to their classes. ~J.B.

On February 11^th every class did a project on a country. My Class did the United States of America. I got to hold the big flag. We made flags in class but I let my friend Katelynn hold mine because I had big flag. I had so much fun. My friend Faith was a torch lighter. ~Carlee
