Dear First
Grade Families,
Our school year is winding down now and we are almost done. We have been
reading on our own, completing some review activities, playing math
games, and finishing our books about where we live.
I would like to thank those of you who attended our Spring Sing. The
kids did a nice job.
We had a great day at the Onekama Village Park today as we celebrated a
fun year of buddy reading. To see pictures of our fun day please visit
our website. (page available June 2)
Monday,
May 31st is Memorial Day. There will be no school on that
day. Enjoy the long weekend! |
Tuesday, June 1st is field day. We will spend the afternoon
hours in friendly competition. You are more than welcome to come and
play games with us. We will be leaving the classroom at 12:00 to walk up
to the track/football field.

Report cards and Iowa test scores will go home next week Thursday.
Please do not be too concerned with your child’s test scores. It was
their first standardized test. It may not reflect their true academic
progress.
I want to wish all of you a safe and fun weekend. Enjoy the summer
weather!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Lyman |
