Visiting the
Dennos Museum
in Traverse City

I like the little gold dragons and the dinosaur.  I also liked the alligator and the wood music and the paintings.  I liked the gold tooth and the eagle basket.   ~By Owen

My favorite part was when we went to the Discovery Gallery.  I liked the part when we were in the dancing room.  There were funny people on the screen that were orange and yellow. Then they were purple and green.  The funny people were really  us.  ~By James

Bioneers Children’s Concert
at Milliken Auditorium

First we went to the concert.  There were six people performing.  Then we had lunch.  Next, we went to the Dennos Museum.  We saw The River of Gold.  In the River of Gold, we saw gold necklaces, earrings, and nose clips. The gold is 2000 years old.  Then we saw the Art of the Woodland Indian and then we saw the Inuit art.  I saw the enchanted owl.  Last we went to the Discovery Gallery.  I played the magic harp.  ~by Eleanor

The Dennos Museum was cool.  Did you know that the River of Gold was found in a river? We saw a basket made from porcupine quills.  There were sculptures of caribou and a whale bone.  The concert was loud.
