On April 21, 2010
we played quiz bowl. Our team was the Terminators. The first team we
versed was the Demuse's Docile Geniuses. We beat them by 40 points. The
people that were on the team were Kiara, Me, Lauryn, Jarrod, Tighe, and
Austin. After Demuses we versed the Quizinators. We won that game too.
Then we versed the Quizzards. We won by 90 points. In the finals we
versed the Quizinators again and we won the finals and got the 1st place
plaque. We were all really happy we won. Quiz Bowl was a great

Congrats to
Onekama's fifth grade team! They are hard working, respectful, and
responsible students. They deserve the success of being Quiz Bowl

Quiz bowl was fun. There were
some questions we didn't even talk about in class. I answered one
about ballet. This was my firs time at quiz bowl. It's so cool.

On Wednesday April,
21, 2010 5th grade had quiz bowl. I was the score keeper. it was really
fun. First the quizards played the Brethren team. The quizards won. then
a few more rounds went bye then we went to lunch. After lunch we went to
the gym. quizbowl was fun. ~Robert -Onekama
Today on 4-21-10
the 5th grade had quiz bowl. Austin, Kiara, Lauryn, Kelly, Tighe, and I
were on the team. Our team name was the Terminators. We won the first
games. Finally we made it to the finals. we had to wait in the lunch
room for a long time before competing! After a while we competed against
the Quizinators for 1st place. We won the game 75-60. The Demuses got
third place, the Quizinators got second place, and we got
1st place!

On the 21st
of April we had a quiz bowl championship. We have six people our team
other wise we have scoreboard and machinest. The quiz bowl name for
Onekama school was the terminators. As i was saying i was one of the
machinest. I was partnered up with Kyle cause he was a score board
person. I had a fun time playing with quiz bowl. ~Taler

Terminators won 1st place. The Quizinators got second and Demeuses' got

On April 20th 2010
twelve people from the the grade class had quiz bowl. There were six
people on the team itself and there were 3 pairs doing score keeper and
machinist. I was a score keeper for room two. In room two we had our
team the Terminators. In the championship our team won against the
Quizinators for the championship! We won first place! Good job

the all the fifth grade in Manistee county had quiz bowl at our school.
Our team was called the Terminators. The people that were on the team
were me, Kelly, Lauryn, Austin, Tighe, and Jarrod. I had a great time.
We won quiz bowl. Everyone on the team was so excited when we won. I

Quizbowl was a wonderful
experience. Those other teams were really smart. I enjoyed watching
the other teams play after we lost. Quizbowl was an exciting

all the 5th grades in the county had a Quiz Bowl game. I was the
machinist. The terminators won the whole thing. On April 22, 2010 we
have to do the 6th graders Quiz Bowl. I hope the Onekama team wins. It

Quiz bowl was cool.
I was a score keeper! It was so fun. Our class won! We won 75 to 60 in
the finals. That was so close, everybody was so scared that we were
going to lose, because the other team had a boy that could multiply
large sums in his head in 3 seconds! Tomorrow I have to be score keeper
again for 6th grade and I have to miss gym. That's a big bummer but
being score keeper is fun too! ~Alexis -Onekama

the 5th grade quiz bowl team and I played and won quiz bowl. I was very
nervous before the competition. First we played Demuses, then the
Quizzenators, next we played Quizzards, last we the Quizzenators again.
We were the only undefeated team. Our plaque is burgandy color. I love
