On February 28,
some of the basketball girls went to the MSU game. We had to meet at
the school. When we got there we had to walk a long time to get to
the Spartan Stadem. When we got there we went to take a picture by a
cool statue. Then we went to see the game. That was really cool. I had a
fun time. ~Kassidy

The pictures attached are of a Michigan State University game that Mrs. Haske
(parent of the Haske twins in fifth grade) and I went too with half of
the Onekama fifth grade girls’ basketball team and my son. We went on
Sunday, February 28th. It was MSU versus Minnesota. The
tickets were free, thanks to the Haske family. We had great seats!
We were six rows up from the MSU bench. We actually were sitting
amongst the team's family members. It was a great game! The Spartans
won! It was also senior night, so we got to see the four seniors on the
team honored after the game on the court. The Onekama girls were also
able to get an autograph from Lauren Aitch after the game, one of MSU’s
seniors and starters. We left the school at 9:00 am and didn’t return
until 10:00 that night. It was a long day, but so fun!
