White Pine
Village is one of the best field trips ever. I have never been to
White Pine Village. I went with my class to White Pine village. We
got to pick are chaperones. I was with Nick Falk’s mom. The first
place we went was the doctor’s office. We saw a phone and an old
typewriter. We saw a school house we went inside it. When we got
inside we had to sit down in chairs and there was a teacher. I had a
great time at White Pine Village. ~C.M.
I went to White
Pine Village on October 8, 2009. I had chocolate ice cream. I went
on the hay ride. We went in the doctor’s office. We went in the
hardware. We went to the saw mill. The church was cool to. I raced
down the hill I almost fell down. We had lots of fun. At the
saw mill there where big chunks of wood falling everywhere
. After we left we took a class pitcher. Then we took a funny
pitcher. Then we played on the stage. ~D.J.
My friends
went to White Pine Village on October 8, 2009.The people that was in my
group were Caleb, Roberto and Kevin. Next we went to the barn house. The
barn house was fun when we got to have a corn stock with syrup. My mom
got to try it to “she is a chaperone “. When we got inside my mom and I
went in the place where the cooper and I rote some questions then my mom
rote the rest. Then we went to the school house “it was rate next to the
barn “. When we got inside we got to pick our seat. Before school
started our question was ”how many stars where on the flag” I thought
the answer was 42 stars but it was 44 stars. We had a fun time at White
Pine Village. ~N.F. |
On October
8 2009 my class went to White Pine Village. It was so cool. We all
had groups. My dad, Madison, Zoe and I were in a group. We had a
long bus ride and then we finally got there. It was so cool. My
favorite building was the school house. It was so cool. She told us
a lot of weird things they did back then. The other one I liked was
the Tapers house. It had a lot of furs and was very cozy. I really
liked it there. I hope I go to White Pine Village again. ~E.B
Yesterday we
went to White Pine Village! One of the places we went was the
church. Inside there was a person that was playing an instrument. I
forgot what it was called. There was a cemetery. There was a stone
that said someone lived for four mouths! We got to se how they cut
the wood. There was a giant blade that cut the wood. We also went to
the local store. It had things that were really cool. We also went
on a hay ride. That is what we did at White Pine Village. ~J.T.
I went to White Pine Village on October 8, 2009. My
favorite place was the saw mill! It was powered by a tractor. The
tractor had streak of rubber. It powered the saw. We got to see a
little tooth from the saw. There was a huge machine that would lock
the wood and then the machine would move toured the saw then it
would get lined up with the saw then it would get cut. Peaces of
wood would fly right at us. The mans son was building a fort. It was
cool. We got to go in the fort. It was made of scrapes of wood. I
had great time at White Pine Village. ~J.E.

Me and my class went to White Pine Village on October 8,
2009. I went with Emily, Madison, and Mr. Beaman . My favorite part
was the schoolhouse. The schoolhouse was fun because I got to learn
about the olden days. The people back then had to write on slates
instead of paper and instead of pencils they had metal pencil
things. Then we ate ice cream! White Pine Village was awesome. ~Z.M.

My
class went to White Pine Village. The whole 4th grade class
went too. My chaperone was Mrs. Maxey. First we went to the museum of
music. Mrs. Maxey, Sydnee and I learned the diference between the
saxophone and a clarinet! Next we went to the doctor’s office. The lady
said a kid ate a penny and a tooth brush. I learned that that little
kids had to only write with their right hand. I had a lot of fun at
White Pine Village! ~J.B. |

White
Pine Village was awesome. My favorite place was the saw mill! The blade
was huge. It was powered by a tractor. The tractor broke after a while.
It was chomping huge logs. There where lots of other places too.
Everything was cool there. But the saw mill was the coolest. I learned a
lot about the mail office. It was very cool. Like all of the mail boxes.
There where over two-hundred. It was a lot of mail boxes. White Pine
Village was the best field trip ever that I have been on. ~I.W. |
