Reading with Fifth Graders

Every Tuesday after lunch, 5th graders and kindergarteners read together for about 20 minutes.  Here are some photos by Jacob, Mr. Kudlack, and Mrs. Bromley.  The fifth graders e-mailed their comments.

On 3-2-2010 the fifth grade was helping the kindergarten class with reading. The girl I read with was very nice. On some of her books she memorized them. I’m not saying that’s bad, but she did a very good job. While I was helping I started feeling great because we were all making a difference. Every Tuesday we help them read for 20 min. Helping them read is a fun thing to do.
~April
