Dear
Parents,
Today we have Monday folders. I was not feeling well last Friday. I am
sorry for any inconvenience. Mrs. Zajac, our title 1 teacher was my
substitute. She graciously walked the class to the Onekama Public
Library. They made a
craft with
Ms. Jane. This was the last time your child will be able to check out
books. If your child returned his/her library books, then s/he was able
to check out three more books. Our last walk to the library will be on
Friday, May 29th.
This week we will finish our last math unit. Students will have a test
on Wednesday. Once our math is finished, we will use that time to focus
more on our writing skills. We are using graphic organizers to organize
our ideas first before putting any words on paper.
There is a new addition to Luke's family. Luke has a sister! Her name
is Ava Alexis. She was born last Thursday at 3:40 a.m. She weighed 7
pounds 15 ounces and was 20 inches long. Congratulations!
Enclosed you
will find information about this year’s buddy reading beach party. The
annual party will be on Friday, May 22nd from 11 am – 3 pm.
Please read it over. You do not need to sign a permission slip. You
already signed it at the beginning of the year. |
