Dear
Parents,
This week
we have a Thursday folder since there is no school tomorrow or Monday
due to teacher in-services. Today your child took his/her first
spelling test. On Tuesday your child will bring home his/her test.
There will be no new spelling words until the week of February 2nd.
Our
Valentine’s party will be on Friday, February 13th from 11:45
– 2:45.
Letha
Harnick, Renee Johnson, and Jason Torrey are our helpers. Brooke Keys
will provide the snack. Renee Johnson will provide the drink. Samantha
Dutton will provide plates and cups. I could use at least one more
parent helper and several more snacks for our party. If you’re
interested, then please let me know. During our party we are going to
create holiday crafts. We need supplies for our four centers. These

Enclosed
is a class list to help students address their valentines. Griselda is
in Florida for the winter; she’ll return in the spring. Please have
your child address a valentine to her. I’ll put them in the mail to
her. During Christmas we made Griselda Christmas cards and a few weeks
later we received cards from her.
