Our Creations
On Thursday,
April 30, 2009 Mrs. Dutton, Chloe’s grandmother, came to teach an art
lesson in our classroom. Mrs. Dutton is a retired gym and art teacher.
She offered to teach a lesson about collages. As they worked the
students called their work their “creation.” They were so proud of what
they had done. I’m not sure who had a bigger smile at the end the time,
the students or Mrs. Dutton. She must have been a fine art teacher.
She did a fantastic job. I wish I would have had her teach them more
this year. Once finished, students wrote about their creations.
