Good-bye, Salmon!

After spending the school year watching you grow, today we released you into Bowen Creek.  Have a good life, little salmon!

On May 7, 2009 my class and I went to Bowen Creek to release the salmon. We stayed and played for a wile. Carlee And I were fishing. We found a stick and weeds and we tied them on our sticks. We never got a bite. We had so much fun.

On May 7, 2009 my class went to release the salmon we raised. They were about two inches long. We had about 120 something fish!! When we released the salmon we counted to three. Then we released the salmon. Then we played for the rest of the day. We saw trout, suckers, frogs, and more. Junior even found 1 morel mushroom!!!

On May 7 we released our salmon at Bowen creek. We brought the salmon on the bus. I had five fish in my Ziploc lock bag. Altogether we had 120 fish. We let them go in the creek saftly. We saw a frog / tadpoles / trout / suckers /mushroom /and more.

   I thought that it was cool seeing the salmon grow up.
