I know three
things about magnets. Magnets connect to other medal. Some things that
connect to are: washers, caps, screws, steel wool, nail, and an old
nickel. And they don't attract: cloth tongue depressor, cotton
batten, eraser, and new nickel, clothes pin. Most magnets are red,
not blue. Magnets are not all red. They have a little white at the end.

Magnets work
best at their poles. Magnets are attracted to metals. Magnet is a type
of rock. Magnets are attracted to paper clips, steel wool, other magnets
on certain spots, and other stuff with lots of metal. Magnets aren't
attracted to wood, cloth, cotton, and stuff without metal. Metal poles
are the south pole and the north pole.
