My cousin JaySam came in to show us a lot of Native American tools
and clothing. He told us about a legend about a Native man that
angered sea people. So the people covered the land with nothing but
water. The man gathered all the animals on a log so they wouldn't
drown. The man told the animals to try to dive down to the ground to
grab soil. Only one animal got the soil but that animal drowned
trying to get it. The man made land by putting the soil on a
turtle’s back. He showed us a lot of other cool things to. I had fun
listing to JaySam I hope he could do it again.
