Mrs. Bennett's class went to White Pine Village on October 9th, 2008! It was lots of fun! We had to go on a bus all the way to Ludington! It was a very long trip plus a very loud trip! When we got there we had to put our lunches under a tree! The first stop our group went was the mail Office! The 2nd Hardware store! There is lots more but I will tell sometime! Then we went back to school!  ~Taler!

On October 9, 2008 we went to White Pine Village. We liked the Blacksmith Shop. I got sent to jail for 90 days. I walked with Mom and Mark.   ~Jacob

White Pine Village used to be an Indian Village. When we got there we got our lunches and went to this tree where we put our lunches. My two favorite places were the Old Frame House and the Hardware. I had a fun day. ~Mark

At White Pine Village there were 20 or 30 buildings. My favorite building was the Jarrison Barn. In Jarrison Barn, Talia and I got to chisel wood with a chisel and a mallet. White Pine Village is neat. My mom was a chaperone. My sister came too. One thing that I learned is when you or someone got sick you had to call the doctor and wait for the doctor to come to your house. Back then doctors made house calls. Our trip to White Pine Village was neat. ~Kelly

Our class went to White Pine Village. My favorite thing was called First Mason County Courthouse. I liked it because she talked to my group about jail. She said I had to be in jail for 90 days. We got to look at the jail where they kept the jail people. She put Jacob in jail with me for 90 days. My group was Grace, Patty, Kassidy and Me. Then we went on a hay ride. It was funny because Grace and I were getting on when he took off. We were half way on. I also liked the trip because of the gift store. I got a mod ring, cristal, game that you try to get a ball in a hole and a wood flute. We went and got ice cream. White Pine Village was fun.  ~Michele

On October 9, 2008 we went to White Pine Village. It was exciting. Also very historic. We got to go on a hay ride. The funny part is that in the middle of the hay ride Grace , Michele and I were on our way over to the place where you got on and they had already left and it stopped to show the people riding a building, so there was an opening so I said Hay can't we just get on now and my chaperone said I guess so. I got on and then Grace tried getting on and it started to move. Good thing it went slow because we still had more people to get on. So Grace was laying there on the edge so Patty pushed her up. That was my favorite part.  ~Kassidy
