On October 9, 2008, Mrs. Bennett's class went to White Pine Village. It was a historical site. It was founded in the 1800's. My chaperone was my dad. Kyle and Xana were in my group. The first place we went was Pere Marquette Town Hall. We had to fill out questions for each building we went to. We got ice cream there. After we got ice cream we went on a hay ride. I thought the hay ride was kind of boring. I thought White Pine village was fun. ~Kiara

On Thursday, October 9th, the fourth grade class went to White Pine Village. When we got there the first building we went into was the Pere Marquette Town Hall. A few buildings later we found where they had sugar cane to sample. The man there drizzled a molasses like stuff allover it and it was really good. Also we got to ride on a little tractor around the place. White Pine Village was awesome!
