On May 29, 2009 the fourth and third grade classes went to Mackinac Island. At Mackinac Island one of my favorite things was the haunted house. The haunted house was not scary at all but the only thing that was scary was that it was very dark so you would hit the walls. One more thing was the way back on Shepler’s ferry if you were on the top you would of got soaked. Some of my friends got so soaked it looked like they just took a bath. Mackinac Island was a fun trip. ~Grace

Mrs. Bennett’s class went to Mackinac Island on May 29, 2009.  My favorite part of Mackinac Island is the Bridge. That was my favorite part because the water looked very cool. Also it was my favorite part of Mackinac Island because big ships go under the bridge. Another thing I thought was cool is that there are no cars allowed on the island. All they hade to use to get around the island is carriage and bikes and in the winter they could use snowmobiles. I also liked the ferry. I liked that to because on the top you could get soaked and they handed out guides for $ 1.00. My mom and I got one case we did not want to get lost in Mackinac Island. My mom got me a shirt that was $6.00 and it said Mackinac Island .My mom and I hade to leave Mackinac Island at 2:00 because I was hungry from all that walking around Mackinac Island and I needed a bath for the next day. Mackinac Island was a long time but I hade a ton of fun but I still survived. ~Xana

It landed on my shoe and my arm. Then my class went to the fort. It had a lot of cool stuff. Then we split into two groups and we got to go anywhere we wanted with are chaperones. My group went to the hunted house. It was kind of scary but I didn’t scream.  I had fun. Then we went back on the fairy and I got SOOKED!!!! Then we went home. On May 29, 2009 Mrs. Bennett’s fourth grade class went to Mackinac Island. My favorite thing to see was there are no cars just horse’s and carriages. There were a whole bunch of different kinds of horses. Another thing there were bicycles. A lot of people ride bicycles instead of horses and carriages. Mackinac Island has the most fudge and the best fudge. Our carriage tour guys name was Derik. Mackinac Island was an awesome trip. ~April

On May 29, 2009 the third and fourth grade went to Mackinac Island. It took a long time to get there. My favorite part was going to Fort Mackinac. I played with my friends Jacob and Matt a lot there. They had fake cannons and towers to see a great view. They also had men that did a few gunshots every now and then in the fort. After I left the fort the first thing that I wanted to do was buy some fudge. There was also a cool haunted house. When it was time to leave I still wanted to stay. It was really fun going to Mackinac Island. ~Jarrod
