Jon's One Week Journal

Thursday, December 4

Today at school my friends and I made a snow fort. It is going to be very big. So we started it. After a little while we went looking for snow balls. We found some and took them. We could only take a couple. So we took one and rolled it down the stairs. It started to break! We were like NOOOOO and dang it! Why did it break? After I broke we took the parts back to the snow fort. Then I told Hunter to come help me take the other ones down. So we did and we just got them down in time before the whistle blew. We are still working on it but it looks good.

Friday, December 5

Today I worked out with the Manistee Ski Team and Aric. I started at 3:30 at Manistee High School. I had to change so I did. When I was ready we went down stairs. That is where we work out. Aric told us start running for five minutes. So we did. When we were finished I was almost the first one done! Then we ran some stairs I think. We did this for maybe thirty minutes. Then we did some abs. he said we were going to play tag but we didn’t. Why didn’t we play tag? That was a good workout.

Saturday, December 6

Today I ran the Jingle Bell Dash. It was a 5k. My mom and Bob and Aric did it with me. I convinced them into doing it. It was at the Manistee Middle School. You started at the football field and ran in a giant square and finished where you started. It was 25 degrees out! So we got there signed up and went to the start. We waited a little while and then the guy said ready, set, band the gun went off and the race began. I started running. Some time went by and then it started to get hard for me to breath. I told my mom and she said dang it we should have brought your inhaler. Then my breathing started to get better after awhile. Then I was at the final turn I started running as fast as I could. Aric said to try to pass the guy in front of you. So I tried to. I almost did but he heard me so he ran faster. I passed the finish line. I came in 21^st place. My time was 27:30 I think. I would have run better but it was snowing. Why wasn’t I use to running in the snow? I’m glad I did that race.

Sunday, December 7

Today I went snowmobiling. Ella didn’t go because she is to young. So we went out and Ella stayed with Lacee. We tried to go to my dad’s farm. The roads were to plowed so we had to take a trail in the woods. So we took it and it came to two ways to go. I remember taking one of the trails when we went with our friends. So I told them take this trail I remember going this way. So we did and my mom and Ben got stuck! So my dad went over to where they were and picked the back end up and got it unstuck. How did my dad pick the back end up? Then we went home. That was very fun snowmobiling!!

Monday, December 8

Today at recess we were building our fort. When we were building it Spencer came over. He shouldn’t be helping us because he quit a couple days ago. So he comes over and starts helping. Then what do you know he is wrecking it. Why was he wrecking it? We told him to stop and get away. He went away for a little bit. Then he came back! He started wrecking it again so Logan pushed him away and said stop. Then Spencer threw a rock at Logan and it hit him on the tooth. After recess they went to talk to Mrs. Hagen. When they were done with Mrs. Hagen Spencer said sorry to Logan. We are all friends now. That was a crazy day.

Tuesday, December 9

Today Ben and I played with Lacee. Fist we went over to Lacee’s house to ask if she could play. She said yes. So she goes and gets dressed. Then she showed us her snow fort. Then she went on top of this roof we went on it to. We played this one game. Then we jumped off the one roof on to another roof! I told her not to so she didn’t. Then we jumped down the one roof and found a way to get on the other one. So we went up it. We were following her and she told us to stay behind me. Why did she say that? Then we had to go home because my mom said we had to. That was a fun day with Lacee.

Thursday, December 4

I went to a middle school basketball game. Onekama lost 28-17 against Bear Lake. I saw my best friend Logan there. I ask him what he was doing. Then I went up and sat with him. We found a wallet. It had a bunch of stuff in it. it had some matches. A hole ton of my friend went under the bleachers to look for stuff. Then it was the 8^th grade turn. Then I had to go home. I had fun that night.

Friday December 5

I went to my granny and papa house with my cousin. We had a war against each other. It was Logan and Colin vs. Briten and Jarrett. Bitten and I won because Logan and Colin cheated. Then Briten and I got mad at Logan and Colin. We would not talk to them. Then about 4 our later we would finally tough to them. I had fun that night.

Saturday December 6

My mom, Logan and I went to Arcadia church to rap present for the poor. It took 2hr. on our way there my mom mist the turn. We went toward AJ’S house to find a place to turn around. We finally found a place to turn around. We got to the church my litter cousin Adam was their. We played for a litter a wile. Then we all went home.

Sunday December 7

Today was a laze day. We play ps2 for wile. We play my sister game called are you smarter then a fifth grade. We all made up our own characters. Then play Amazon safari a Columbian game. When you would cross the river there would be a wild dog on the other side. I was the best at that game. I had a lot of fun today

Monday December 8

We went to band today. I am not a fan of band class. We did a lot of laughing. We were practicing for our band concert. Our concert is on December 17 Wednesday. My sister has a concert on Thursday the 10. I hope we do good.

Tuesday December 9

I went out side for a long time. We made little fort in the snow. well my dad was snow blowing. It took him about 3 hr. I had to go in side because I was a icicle. I went down stair and put my snow gear in the dryer. Then I ask my mom how long I was out side she said about 3.5 hr? then I went up star and got some hot chocolate. I had fun to day.

Wednesday December 10

We went to my mom school. I had a lot of fun that day. I play on the computer. Then we went in the gym. We play baseball and football. My sister would put it on her foot and I would kick it. I ask my mom how long we were there she said about 4 hr? I had fun that day.

Today I went to matt hulls house. And we playing games like Nintendo Wii and play station 2. We also sledded and had a lot of fun. One of the games we played was ghost recon. The Wii game we played was Zelda, ht a was awesome I lafed so hard when matt let go of the wii remote and it hit a picture frame. We had a lot of fun today.

Friday, December 5

Today I am getting ready for the sleepover at Crystal Mountain. Me Braden and Ethan are going to crystal mountain to ski and stuff. And Ethan is bringing his game cube. We are going to play football and stuff on it. We also are going to play hid and seek that was cool. My favorite was snowboarding. We also skied with matt hull and randy. That night I had a ton of fun.

Saturday, December 6

Today I am still getting ready to go to the party with Braden and Ethan and I. at 5:00 I will go to the slay bell parade to meet them. I think we are going to play game cube first. Then we will go to bed so we can go on the ski hill first. Then at noon we will get lunch. I wonder what we are having. We are going to have so much fun tomorrow.

Sunday, December 7

Today I am just getting home from the party. We had so much fun last night. We stayed up all night to watch the snow groomers go bye. I thought we were going to bed but I was wrong. We also played games all night. We had an awesome dinner to. One of the things we had was sloppy Joes. Braden had cereal and Ethan had hot dogs. I wondered if Ethan could ever eat anything but hot dogs? That was the best weekend ever.

Monday, December 8

Today I am coming home from school. When I get home I am going to play my ps2. Then I am going to ride my snowmobile. I have so many places to ride it! I love to ride it in my yard. I can’t wait till Christmas. I am asking for I Nintendo Wii and some games. I wonder if I will get one. I am have an ok day.

Tuesday, December 9

Today I am going to ride my snowmobile. Rite now I am playing ps2. The game I am playing is LEGO STAR WARS. I am having a lot of fun. If he comes over we are going to play a lot of games. We are going to have a lot of fun. I wonder if he really is coming over. This day is going to be a fun one.

Thursday, December 4

Today when I got home from school I got sick. I felt real dizzy. I also felt like I through up 5 times! Then my mom said that I need to go to bed. When I woke up she asked if felt better? I said I felt a little better. She said to go back to sleep. I told her that was just sleeping and, that I wasn’t sleepy anymore but she made me go back to bed. So I did.

Today I got into an argument with me coin Rachel. We got in an argument because she took my nail polish to her house with out asking me. Then when I found out she took it from me. I called her and, asked her when she took it from me? She tried to tell me that I said she could barrow it from me but when she asked me I said no!

Saturday, December 6

Today I went to a basket ball tournament. The tournament was at trinity school. My cousin got to play in the tournament. She got to go against the Bear lake team. My cousin was on the trinity team. Trinity had 36 points and Bear Lake had 16 points. I wonder how the trinity team became that good? When it became five o’clock we left and went home.

Sunday, December 7

Today my friend Jamie came over. She asked if I wanted to take a walk. I said I guess. We walked to a few stores. She bought a new candle for her mom and an axe kit for her dad. I bought a candle for my mom and grandma, and a remote controlled car for my brother. Then I had 18 dollars left so Jamie and I went to A and W to eat. I asked her what she wanted. And she said a hamburger. Then it was getting dark so I went home and so did she.

Monday, December 8

Today after school my grandma took my brother and I shopping. She gave us each fifteen dollars to buy something for are self’s. My brother bought a cube world with his money. I bought a cube world with my money too. They cosseted sixteen dollars but my grandma said it was okay. Lawrence and I played with them all the way home. I wonder what it would be like to go shopping with grandkids. My grandma said not to tell mom we went shopping so we didn’t tell her well at least not yet.

Tuesday, December 9

Today was a snow day. I went to my cousin’s house to play. We went outside and made a snow fort. In the snow fort there are three tunnels to go in and out. In the middle of the fort there is a big and deep hole to sit in. we had to make it deep because Julie her friend made us. I wonder how long it took us to build the snow fort?

Wednesday, December 10

Today was another snow day. I went sledding with my cousins. We went at filer hill in Manistee. It was really fun! My cousin and I went on a sled together. I went in front and my cousin went in back. Sense I was in front I got a white wash. It was realty cold. I didn’t like going up a 170 foot hill and going down over 20 times. I wonder how long it took to get to the tipee top of the hill. It was really fun sledding with my cousins, but when my mom said it was time to go it wasn’t fun. So I said good bye to my cousins gave them hugs and went home to have hot coco.

Today I went to my game. At first we did good. Then we did bad. When I was in half time my coach told us that we had to be better defense. After that we got back on the floor. Then we lost the game. I wish we did not lose.

Friday, December 5

Today I went to my dad’s house and watched movies. One of the movies were Narnia Prince Caspian. Another movie was Santa V.S. Snowman in 3D. The last movie was the star of Christmas. I watched all of the movies. Heidi fell a sleep on all of the movies. It was so cool!

Saturday, December 6

Today I went to the sleghbell parade. It was so cold outside. First we were waiting for Kylyne, but she didn’t come so we went by Vogue Theater. Then my dad got out our portable hot chocolates! Then we found out the hot chocolate needed to be on a warm surface. My brother’s hot chocolate turned out right. The parade lasted 7 minutes. Then we went back to the car. It was fun!

Sunday, December 7

Today I went to church. We practiced our lines for our Christmas play! I am the girl who knows nothing about Christmas. Then I ran in to some one I know and he takes me to church! I also said if the play is boring you by me a shake. My character leaned about Christmas! I loved it!

Monday, December 8

Today I decorated a paper gengerbreadmen. I had to share a kid with Jack. I made a gengerbreadwoman. I took eyes. I also took buttons. Then I took cloth and ribbon. It was awesome! Tuesday, December 9

Today is my mom’s birthday! Bill, Kyle, and I planed a big party! When mom got home we ate dinner. Then we ate cake. Then we watched batman! There were a lot of bombs. It was cool!

Wednesday, December 10

Today I went to church and practiced our play. We rehearsed many times! My brother got to be Joseph again. Charlotte was mad because she didn’t get a line. I am still the girl! Ethan is still the boy! I love the play!

Thursday, December 4

Today I went to the 7^th and 8^th grade basketball games. They played Bear Lake. It was really fun because I got to shoot and half time. I wanted Onekama to win but they lost! The second game at half time we couldn’t shoot. Why wouldn’t he let up shoot this game but he did the first game? I wanted to say to him to let us play! Those were good games.

Friday, December 5

Today I went to the JV and Varsity games. We won both games! I was thinking to myself how could we only win by like five points? Stacy Kieth, Paige and the rest were doing really good. My dad told Taylor Hagen to move the girl to the left side of the court. Those were good and close games.

Saturday, December 6

Today Brandin game to my house. We played Nerf. It was so intense! Brandin said stop. What happened I asked? He said I ran into the chair. Having Brandin over was really fun.

Sunday, December 5

Today I went to Jefferson school to play basketball. It was me, my dad, Brandin, Alex B., Zack b., and my sister. It was so much fun! We played for two hours. I asked why won’t you pass the ball? My sister said because your bad. I got mad so I told her to shut up. Playing basketball at Jefferson school was a lot of fun.

Monday, December 8

Today I went to the JV game but not the Varsity. I screamed so bad the girl shooting missed a free throw! I laughed really hard. I asked why did we lose? I didn’t get an answer so I said tell me! Those were good and disappointing games.

Tuesday, December 9

Today we had a snow day. I built a huge snow fort! I asked my mom how did u dig feet down? She said with a shovel. I told my mom to hide because my dad was coming. My sisters fort wasn’t near as good as mine. Building a snow fort was really fun.

Wednesday, December 10

Today was a snow day. Branding came to my house too. We built another part to my giant snow fort. It was so fun! I asked Brandin how did u dig a hole that fast? He said a shovel. Today was my favorite snow day.

Thursday, December 4

On Thursday we had a basketball game against MCC. I was in the second quarter and when Alisa told me to go in for Brandi she yelled it! At the end of the game I asked my coach why I was only in one time? When the game was over MCC had won and the score was 30 to7. At the end all of us were happy and upset at the same time. We were happy because we were all one big team. We were upset because we had lost but winning is not everything. Even thought we had lost the game was awesome!

Friday, December 5

My mom, step dad Corri, my sister and I went to go get a tree today. It was so funny when I was pulling my sister in her sled and she turned the sled and she turned her sled and went under the tree. When she got up she was laughing really hard. Are you hurt I asked her? Rayna said I’m fine sissy and walked away. When we got done cutting down our tree Corri went down the road and started doing donuts when my step dad said that, that was enough donuts for one night. Obviously my sister didn’t think so cause she kept saying again, again do it again daddy! It was really funny.

Saturday December 6,

On Saturday my family and I had to get up early to go to my basketball tournament in Manistee. It was snowing so hard I said mom am I still going to the game? My mom had called the coach and asked if the game had been called off and the coach said that she hasn’t heard anything so the game is still on. On the way there my mom yelled slow down the roads are slippery! While I was on the court I could hear my sister yelling go sissy go. At the end of the game we wished Brethren good luck against the team that they were playing, hoping we would win the next Saturday.

Sunday December 7,

When I got up this morning my grandma told me to go upstairs and get all of my dirty laundry. I said grandma, do I have to bring down my clothes right now? While my grandma was doing my laundry my sister was throwing blocks at me and I said Rayna Lee stop throwing blocks at me now! After that I had to go to my room and hang and put my clothes away. While I was putting away my laundry I was listening to my radio. I hate putting away my laundry.

Monday December 8

Today I played with my sister Rayna. Rayna and I played doctors. When I got home from school today I ate macaroni n’ cheese and studied for my math quiz. After I was done with my homework I asked Rayna, Rayna do you want to play with blocks? All of a sudden Rayna came out of nowhere screaming yes sissy play with blocks, play with blocks! So after a while Rayna didn’t want to play blocks anymore she wanted to play doctors. So she wanted to be the doctor. Then Rayna took one of my pencils from my backpack and told me she was going to give me a fake shot.

Tuesday December, 8

Today I went to the bank with my mom, sister, and brother. At first we tried to get out of the driveway but that seamed nearly impossible. My brother was screaming because he lost his binki and my sister was crying because she didn’t know what was going on. So my sister would not be quiet so I yelled, Rayna Lee be quiet so mom can drive! After that Rayna said sissy you can’t tell me what to do. After that our mom had to bud in and tell Rayna and me to be quiet. Then Rayna said mommy where are we going? My mom said we are going to the bank ok Rayna. When we got to the bank my mom deposited her money and we left.

Wednesday December 9,

Today Rayna and I went upstairs and played with my old Barbies. Rayna said, sissy can we go and play Barbies sissy? After we eat breakfast I said. Rayna and I ate breakfast and then went upstairs and played Barbie’s. once my sister got in my room and screamed like yes yes I love playing Barbie’s! So I said Rayna Lee be really quiet brother is sleeping. After that my sister and I had a wonderful time playing.

Thursday, December 4

Today December 4, 2008 I had a basketball game. It started at 5:00pm against M.C.C. In the first quarter we were winning 2-0. After that M.C.C scored to baskets and then the score was 4-4. Then it was half time. The coach told us we need to pass more than dribble. Then I was thinking in my mind are we going to win or lose? When half time was over we scored 2 more baskets. I was excited it was 6-4 we were winning! After M.C.C scored 5 more baskets in that same quarter then the score was 14-6. I was not happy! In the third quarter the score was 7-22. Are coach sent in me and some other players. After in the fourth quarter the score was 7-30. Then the game was over and we were sad.

Friday, December 5

Today December 5, 2008 I went to my grandma’s house. When I got to my grandmas we played the wii. My grandma and I played each other in bowling. I was worried that I would lose. I was thinking in my mind am I going to win? I was thinking that because she 10 points ahead of me and we were in the 10^th frame! I told my grandma you are going down. When the game was over we were tied 290-290. Then I played tennis by myself and one of the rounds it took and hour to finish because no one was scoring. After that I fell asleep. About 2 hours after that my mom picked us up I had a tournament tomorrow. When I got home I went to bed right away because I had to be up early.

Saturday, December 6

Today December 6, 2008 I had a basketball tournament. We played M.C.C. at 9:00 in the morning. In the first quarter we were losing 10-2. In the 2^nd quarter we were catching up because the score was 7-13. A couple minutes in to the game I stoll the ball from #20. Then #15 tripped me and I got back up and they called a travel. I was wondering how she tripped me because she was behind me the whole time? Then are team was not happy we were letting them catch up. Then M.C.C scored one more in the fourth quarter and at the end of the game it was 15-11! M.C.C still won and we lost.

The game was still a lot closer then last time!

Sunday, December 7

Today December 7, 2008 I played school with my sisters Kylie and Kennedy. First kylie said she wanted to be in preschool and kennedy said she wanted to be in 10^th grade. I told kennedy no your going to be in preschool or kindergarten. I asked her what one do you want to be in? She said preschool because you get naps. I told her you won’t get a nap if you yell like that and hit me. I told my dad and she got in trouble. I was saying in my mind yeah she got in trouble! So kylie and I played school and first she wanted to learn time and I said ok what time is it right now. She said 1:30 and it was actually 12:45 but she was close. We played on tell 4:30. Then we had dinner and are mom just got home from work. The rest of the night we watched movies. It was fun today.

Today December 8, 2008 I had science class. We were learning about inheritances and traits. When we were learning about inheritance someone asked why are we learning about money? Mr.Neph started to laugh and then all the sudden he was like not funny now read your book. Wow he just got yelled at! Then we read a few paragraphs in our science book and started to talk about inheritance like how you could have your dad’s eyes or you have your mom’s hair. Then he started to about if your grandpa is bald you could be bald to even if you are a girl. Then he dismissed us from class.

Tuesday, December 9

Today December 9, 2008 I played wrestling with my sisters. Kylie and I went against each other first. She kicked her leg up and I grabbed it and she fell to the ground. I then held her down on the floor for 3 seconds and I won! Then I played other sister Kennedy. Then all I had to do was push her over then I pined her down. That didn’t turn out well I pined her down then she kicked me. Then she beat me. I was not happy! I told her good job. This day was weird.

Wednesday, December 10

Today December 10, 2008 I went all over Manistee. I went to Manistee because my mom had an appointment. After that my dad filled out an application for a job. Then we went to China Buffet. We went there fore my dads lunch break. I ate rice, fried rice, sugar roll, meatballs, and jell-o. For desert I had ice cream, brownie, and cookie. Then we went to k-mart and got my sister a shirt for my sisters Christmas sing. Then we went and got are hair cut. Then we went home. Today was fun.

Today we started a journal. I wonder if it will be fun? I am in Mrs. Bennett’s room rate now. I just yelled at Trever! I said if he could be quite. It got quite for a few min. Some people were still lowed. I will write back soon.

Today I am in math class. We went on the completers. It was so much fun! I wonder if we will go on it agene? I told Caleb to go on some games with me. I hope we go on those games agene. I like those games. I will be back soon.

Today I’m at home. This is a good morning. I had a vary good breakfast! I wonder if we are going anywhere today? I told my brother to leave alone. I bored now. I hope we will do something. I’ll write soon.

Today I’m home agene. I’m very bored. I wonder what diner now? I asked my mom if we could have Macaroni and cheese. It smells vary good! My mom asks me to cleaning the kitchen now. I will write vary soon

Today am make ginger bread men. I toll the first grader now to make the ginger bread men. It was so mach fun! I wonder when we bake them? We decorated them. That was fun too. I love make ginger bread men. I will be back very soon.

Tuesday December 9

Today I had a sown day. I tooled my brother to leave my alone. I still had so much fun! I wonder if we will have another snow day? I made a snow fort. It was ok. I liked it. I will write soon.

Wednesday December 10

Today we had another snow day. I tolled my brother to leave my alone agene. I wonder what we will happen tomorrow? We are making an igloo. It is hard. I had fun! I love snow days so much. I’ll not be back.

Today as soon as I got home I said I want to do Christmas cards. My grandma said no do your homework. I said but I want to make them now. She said no homework first. Then I walked away. When I came back she said fine but do a little homework first or else you will not be able to. I said can I do it now? She said maybe I said yes. Then she said ok, so I started to do my homework.

Friday, December 5

Today as soon as school stopped I went to my aunt’s house and stayed the night. Lexi and I took a bath. In the bathtub we played and played. Lexi called for Aunt Laura. I ask her why she called for Aunt Laura. Later on Lexi called because she needed a cup. Then she got some ice cold water and poured it on my head I said do not do that again. Then I called for Aunt Laura and ask for bubbles. We were in the bathtub for about 1:25. Then we played and played some more.

Saturday, December 6

After I got out of the shower we went to go see a movie with Lexi. We wanted to watch Beverly Hills Chihuahua. But first we wanted candy. Lexi wanted candy and a drink. Then I said to my aunt Laura I want a drink too. Then she said well what do you want, how about nachos. Lexi and I said yes. When we got in there thought the movie. I liked that movie. It was hard getting home.

In the afternoon my next door neighbor came over. They came to play with me. We went outside to play, I said don’t you want to see my snow fort. As we were walking I said stop. Ella said why? I said because I think I see Flicka. I see her! Come here puppy said Ella. I said want to go in the snow over there. It’s up to my neck. Then after we played, went in side and got warm. I had fun playing with Ella.

In the After –noon I went to my neighbor house to play. We ate then we went outside. I said Autumn, Ben, Ella where do you want to go. Ella said lets go to your snow fort. So I said ok. Ok Ben where do you want to go. Ben said lets go up there. I said ok but stop. You can not go up there without me seeing you. You cannot cross this line. Ok Autumn where do you want to go. Autumn said lets go sledding. I had fun playing with Autumn, Ben, Ella.

Tuesday, December 9

Today was a snow day, I got to have a friend over. So I picked my neighbors, Jon Ben, and Ella but Ella was not there. We went outside and played in my snow fort. Then I asked them what do you guys want to do. They said snowball fight. Stop I said. Ben’s fort is over there, mine and Jon’s fort is right here. Let me get everyone a bag to make snowballs. It makes them easier to make. Then we went in side and played a game. Jon and Ben were fun to play with.

Wednesday, December 10

Today was a snow day. So I went over to see Jon, Ben and Ella. We went out side to play. We made 5 holes in the snow called snow forts. Jon had two. Ben had two. I had one. Ella had a vary small one. I was late getting out side so I had a small fort. I made mine bigger. So Ella and I had a hole from mine to hers. But it did not work. We kept on playing in our snow forts. I had a lot of fun making snow forts.
