Fourth Graders Type   

          This year I was in Junior Achievement. This year I was in Junior Achievement and we learned about businesses. I thought that Junior Achievement was really fun. I learned a lot one thing I learned that you can have more than two people in a business it is called partnership. We made pens I think they were easy to make. At the end of Junior Achievement we made a business and got to make posters and tell what are business was. I thought Junior Achievement was really fun!!!!!  ~Bobby

Every Tuesday for a month there has been coming to our school. Her name is Miss Punches. Miss Punches came in every Tuesday. She was a very nice lady. I learned that you can make your own produce by having one person do a part at a time. Last Tuesday was her last day. I really liked her coming. ~Mark

                   I’m writing  about Junior Achiviment .Mrs.Punches  talked  about was bisnesis and companys . We got to make a poster to pretend that we owned a bisnessiss .  Another thin that we did when Mrs.Punches was herer was we  talked about how to have billboards and stuff . She made the kids take a pen apart that was my favoret part because we got to put it back together. I had so much fun when Mrs.Punches came in and talked about bissnessiss.  ~Xana

Every Thursday I go skiing with my mom, sister, and dad. My mom usually just stands at the bottom of the slopes taking pictures. When we go I take off with Austin. We usually go to the Clipper and ride up to go to the Ridge. The Ridge mostly has blue squares. There is only one black diamond. We usually go down the hill called the Ridge which is a blue square. Sometimes I take off with Kyle. We usually go to the Buck chair. We almost always go down Hoot Owl which is a green circle. I like going skiing at Crystal Mountain. ~Tighe

     My subject is skiing.  I picked skiing because…. I think it is so fun! My favorite part about skiing is the jumps.  I like to go down steep hills. Plus I like to go on fast hills.  My favorite part is where my brother falls on his face. The people I always ski with are April Hopwood and Jordan Coe. I always never get to go skiing much because of the bad weather. When I get to go though I normally go on the big ones. That is why I picked skiing. ~T.B.

          Last, Thursday and Friday I went to Crystal Mountain to stay and ski. When we went skiing it was 2:30 on Thursday. As soon as we got out we didn’t know about the 18” of new powder snow. As soon as we got on Loki chairlift my jaw dropped from the snow. Then when we went down Emmy It was like I was in slow motion. On Nason’s Trail and I wiped out almost doing a flip. A few runs later over at the Buck chair dad and I went down Cheers and almost took a digger in the snow at the end because of the drop off at the end. A few more runs later we went down Hoot Owl and I wiped out again. Then at the end I got very cold because of my wipeouts. ~Kyle

           I ski on Sundays and Thursdays. On Sundays I ski with ski club and on Thursdays I ski with my babysitter. With ski club we go on a bunch of hills. One time we did a race and I won a bronze metal. After a while of skiing I got to be one of the best skiers in my ski club and I know because even some of the instructors told me. On Thursdays I just ski on whatever hills that I want to with my babysitter. We go there for around four hours. Whenever we go on a hill I like to go full speed! Afterwards I usually like to get a really big brownie! Then I go back to skiing on every hill. Well that’s some of the stuff that happens when I ski. ~Jarrod        

          On Thursdays my family Ski’s at Crystal Mountain. We always go down Emmy first then we go to other runs. I see lots of friends up there. My friends are really good skiers some use polls some don’t. My favorite run closes at 4:00 pm which stinks because I get there at 4:30 pm. I like going off the jumps my favorite one is in the middle of every run. My mom works there so we get free passes. I like skiing on Thursday nights. ~Austin

          My name is Jacob. I am a boy scout this year. We went to a Red Wings game one time. They were versing the Ducks. The Ducks scored first. The Red Wings won. The final score was five to two.    ~Jacob

          Every Monday and Wednesday I do dance. I do dance in Manistee. My friend Kiara   goes to dance with me. All the classes I’m in are Ballet, Jazz, Acrow, Lycail, and Callita. My dance teachers are Mrs. Amada, Mr. Jack, and Ms. Tara. I;m in primarey B. I would be in primarey C but, ido not go on Thursday’s. that is what I do on Monday and Wednesday nights. ~Grace

My subject is AAU. I like AAU. I picked it because I’m in AAU. We played three games. We lost all three games but it was our first time playing. The first game we lost by a lot.  It was 36  to two. The other games we did well at. The next  game it was 32 to eight.  We did way better on that one.  For the last game Lauryn’s mom gave us a tattoo. It was a scary one. Then on our last game people started looking at are tattoo. Then our score was six to 28. Then at the end of the game I ate a cinnamon pretzel. After all the games we went out to eat with Madison.  Then we play nintendos when we were waiting for are food. Then I slept all the way home. I had a blast! ~Michele

           This year I was In AAU it is fun. Last Saturday I had a basketball tournament. We lost all are games. The last games I shot two baskets. I am high post I like being high post. My friend Mckayla is point guard.  ~Makayla

          I am writing about AAU. I think AAU is really fun. You get really good exercise when you run up and down the court. I made a lot of baskets and so did my team. My team is really good at basketball. Basketball is a good sport to play.   ~McKayla H.

                   I’m going to write about Girl Scouts. My troop’s number is 461. We are Junior Girl Scouts. The girls that are in my troop are April, Kiara, Lauryn, Kyleigh, Me, MakaylaS., Michele, Kassie, Kassisdy, and McKayla H. My Girl Scout leader is April’s mom. This year instead of being Girl Scouts of Crooked Tree we are Girl Scouts Michigan Shore to Shore. In girl scouts I learned about my body, how to take care of your pets, about another country called Easter Island, and we went camping at Camp Saki in Traverse City. I think Girl Scouts is fun. ~Kelly

          I am in girl scouts. I like girl scouts because us girl scouts get to do a lot of stuff. We get a lot of badges. We are troupe 461. We want camping at Camp Sacagawea. Some of the girls want home really. I love girl scouts. ~Kassie

          Every Thursday my dad, brother, and I do a special event. Our event is skiing. We love to go skiing. We go skiing at Crystal Mountain. I go down some black diamonds not all. My dad and brother do black diamonds all the time. I look down a steep one and my brain says don’t do it but I do it anyways. Then when I’m done doing it I say I’ll never do that again. My dad forces me to do black diamonds. When we ski I go with Haskes or sometimes Tighe. We barly ski with Kyle cause we can never find him. Sometimes we find him. Skiing is the best sport ever. ~April

          I was snow board at Crystal Mountain oh most ever Thursday.   Last Thursday I  was at Crystal Mountain. I Ho most all the time I go on the Crystal clipper. This is what I did at Crystal Mountain. ~Matt
