First Chicks to Hatch

Our chicks began to break out of their shells Tuesday morning April 28th.  These photos show the first two.

Mr. Kudlack and Mr. Zupin sent out an email inviting elementary classes to visit.  Soon eager children looked through the glass watching the first two chicks move about to dry their feathers.

In the incubator additional chicks were making peeps as they began to break through their eggs. By the end of the day there were 10 little chicks.
