The leader dog is very important to the blind. ~Chloe W., gr. 2

I learned that you have to ask to pet the dog. But don't pet the dog on the head. Make a fist so they smell you. So make shure you ask to pet the dog. Or some dogs just have puppies. So those dogs grow up and are leader dogs. ~Samantha, grade 2

We saw some leader dogs that have to go to college. They lead people around where they need to go. If they are wearing a  Do not Pet sign do not pet it.

I learned a lot about Leader Dogs. Leader Dogs can take blind people anywhere. Three men in the Lions Club made up Leader Dogs for the Blind. The 3 men founded the facility in 1939. ~Ben J, grade 2
