Signs of Spring!

The Kindergarten Class is Hatching Eggs

We took the eggs and we put an X on the first side. And Mr. K. turned them over and we put an O on the other side. So they would know which side got turned over.  ~Alli

I got to put an O on the egg. Somebody else made the X. ~Justin

It was really fun writing O and X on the eggs. I am five. ~Ella

The eggs will hatch in 19 days. We have to keep them warm in an incubator. ~Eleanor

I have a farm but we don't have eggs on our farm. I'm only six. ~Dalron

I know chickens lay eggs. They are like robins. They are birds. Birds have feathers. That's how they fly. I have a book about Brer Rabbit and Buzzard picks him up. Rabbit took the buzzard's feathers. ~Kolin

The eggs had X and O. We each did 2. Mrs. Lyman's class did some too. Mr. Zupin comes in every day to get chickens started. He just knows a lot about chickens. ~Colleen

Well, what we did was draw an X on the first side and an O on the other side.  It was pretty fun. ~Bryce

Last week we colored what eats chickens. Hawks eat chickens. I eat chicken. My favorite is chicken nuggets. ~Hanna
