Learning about Manufacturing:
Unit, Mass, and
Assembly Line
Production

The students learned what mass, unit, and batch productions were. Mass production is when you are in charge of one thing and you work on an assembly line. Unit production is when you make the entire product by yourself. Batch production is when you are in charge of two or three things and you make an assembly line.

In the pen making game my group had unit production. Unit production is working to do something by yourself.

Mass production is using an assembly line.
The assembly line is what Henry Ford used.
