Last year during a family reunion I cooperated with my cousin Keaton. I learned about cooperation. We wanted to go fishing with our grandpa, but my mom said we had to go help set up grandpa's camper first. I said, "Oh no, we have to set up the camper". I just wanted to go fishing right away and I didn't want to set up the camper. We cooperated by working together to set up the camper. We put down the jacks and  put up the kayaks. After that we got the boat and went fishing. By working together my cousin and I were able to go fishing faster and cooperate to have more fun.

I always cooperate with my grandma. I cooperated with my grandma and helped take care of my grandpa. My grandpa was very sick. He had cancer. When I saw him he was in a coma. It made me cry a lot. I had to cooperate when my grandma told me to help take care of our dogs more than I normally do so I did. I also had to take care of my other pets more. I helped take care of my grandpa and I gave him some medicine. Sometimes it's hard to cooperate but I do it anyway.

Once I had to cooperate with my brother. My brother and I wanted to play my Nintendo. Then my mom came in. She said I had to do my chores before I played anything. My brother teezed me then my mom said my brother would help. Then my brother started to argue. He said, "but mom why do I have to help her. It's her chores."

Then she said, "I know but you can help too."

Then he got so mad. "Why do I have to help? She always gets what she wants. She never helps me."

Then I said, "Well, you never asked."

Then he stomped in the bathroom. After a few minutes he came out. He apologized. He said, Let's get to work. First we did the bird room. He said, "What's that smell?"

I said, "I don't know but we better get to work. We better vacuum." I fed and watered them. Then I fed and watered my cat. There was a spider in it only a little one. Then my brother fed and watered my dog. Then we told Mom we were done. She said OK. We played the Nintendo. I'm glad we cooperated.

I love to cooperate with my dad. Last summer my dog ran away. I told my dad and he said we should look for him. It was 2:00 PM. So my dad and I looked in the back yard first. We went down the hill and then we went to the swamp and we called for Fletcher but he wouldn't come. So we walked even farther and we saw five deer. It was real cool! We got to the property line and we didn't see Fletcher. I was real sad. Then I tripped over a stump and I was lafeing. My dad started lafeing too. Then we found the property line and we saw Fletcher. He was very happy that we found him. He was messy and dirty. All the way home Fletcher was playing with my dad. My dad and I got home and my brother was so happy that we found him. I'm glad my brother stopped crying. He was so loud when he cried. I love to cooperate with my dad.

My grandpa and I cooperated together. Last summer my grandpa and I went quading on trails. My quad broke down and my grandpa kept going. We were in the middle of the trails. I got off my quad and then my grandpa got off his quad and we started to look for the spare plug. I said to take the sett off and my grandpa said yes so I took the back off the quad and my grandpa found it then take it out and it  was a bad spare plug and we had a spare and we put it in where it goes and we got up and I got on my quad and I started it up and took off. My grandpa and I cooperated.

Cooperating is fun but it can also be really sad sometimes. I was there for them when my grandpa Johnson passed away four years ago. My mom, my family and I were very upset when he left us, everybody cried. I was only 4 years old so I didn't understand that he wouldn't come back. But I was still upset when I figured out that he was never coming home. I still remember that day the table that he laid on was so high that I couldn't see him so I got on my dad's shoulders . As soon as I saw my grandpa Johnson I cried like everyone else. His favorite place was Drommand Island so that is where we spread his ashes. W still have some of the ashes. We had a big box and two necklaces with his ashes in it. Sometimes I hold his necklace in my hands when I sleep. I miss him so much. Cooperating is really sad sometimes.
