is Fun

      Mrs. Lyman is teaching a Kindergarten physical science unit on pushes and pulls of objects.  Today we played a game – each student raced another student at blowing air through a straw to move a bean.  After the game we discussed how our breath was like the wind and we talked about things the wind can move – leaves, sand, tree branches. 

     Below is another science game. They pulled a bag of flour a few steps and then they pushed it.  We talked about which was easier.  We talked about other objects that are easy to push or pull.  We also talked about other objects that we push or pull in order to move them.
