Miss Schultz's Letter

Dear Kindergarten and First Grade Families,

The kids enjoyed their book studies this week.  Kindergarten read Lunch, a story about a hungry mouse and all the things he eats.  First grade read One of Three, a story about three sisters and all the things they enjoy doing together.

What a great day at Moomer’s yesterday!!  We had beautiful weather and they do such a terrific job showing our kids the ice-cream making process.  I’m glad so many of you were able to join us!

We are officially finished with homework for the school year.  Thank-you for supporting the importance of the procedure.

We finished the first grade 90 word spelling review test.  I will have the results for you next week after a couple students make up what they missed.

First grade magazine tests came home today.  Please do not take too much consideration for the score your child received.  It is a difficult time of year to take these tests.

We will have one last visit to the public library for craft making next week.  Please be sure you have turned in all your public library books!!

Please fill-out and return the permission slip for your child to participate in the buddy reading beach party next week Friday.

Moomer’s picture coming to the website soon!
