Miss Schultz's Letter

Dear Kindergarten and First Grade Families,

The Kindergarten group learned the nursery rhyme, Bow Wow.  They found rhyming pairs throughout the rhyme, they made an animal alphabet book and they wrote animal riddles.

The First grade group learned to read Eek! There’s a Mouse in the House.  Ask them to tell you about the story.  It was a silly story and we all enjoyed reading it!

March is reading month and we will be doing many different things to make it a fun month full of reading for your child.  Please be looking for information about the busy days ahead.  The yellow paper that went home today explains a homework project that is due on Monday, March12th.  The information you and your child collects during this project will be used to put into a story for them to read at Young Author’s Night.  If you have any questions about the project please let me know.

Be sure to check our website!  We have 100th day, Valentine’s Day and Ski day pictures.
