 Dear Kindergarten and First Grade Families,

            I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your help and support throughout the year.  I would also like to compliment you on the dedication you have to your children.  They would not be where they are today without the benefit of all you do with them at home.  Please continue reading to your child and letting them read to you.  Give them as many new experiences as possible.

            Attached to this letter is the report card, a list of ideas of things to do with your child over the summer, any sight words your child needs to practice, paper for handwriting practice and paper for number writing practice.  Please take time to work on some things with your child over the summer.  It is very easy for them to forget some of the concepts they have learned.
