Dear Kindergarten and First Grade Families,

Welcome to the New Year!  It is great to be back and have everyone rested and ready for new things.

This week the Kindergarteners read a new nursery rhyme, Pat-a-Cake.  They found the rhyming words and completed an activity to review the other word families we have previously studied.  The first graders completed their second magazine test.  Both groups have been plugging away at math lessons.  First grade will take their Unit 3 Checking Progress next week.

Next week Tuesday, January 9th we will be walking to the Onekama Public library.  Please be sure that your child brings their book back.  It would be helpful if they had a plastic bag so they can carry it to the library safer.
