At Crystal Gardens I saw a lot of cool things. We actually ate plants. We saw a snake and snake eggs. The class also saw a lot of butterflies. We saw a bluegill jump after a worm. I also saw some creyfish. We saw lots of cool stuff that I thought that I would never see. There were five big fat worms. They had big spots on them. They were so cool. I have never even heard of big fat worms like that. I had a great day. ...Lexi |

Today the fifth grade class went on a field trip to Crystal Garden. First we went out to a garden. There was a stream that went in to a pond with gold fish in it. There were a lot of plants that smelled like mint and one tasted like it. Then we went to the butterfly house. It had butterflies in it and it had blue giles that came to the surfus for crickets. Today, September 29, the fifth grade went to Crystal Gardens by Frankfort. We got to see a toad eat a worm, bees, a snake, snake eggs, butterflies, fish, birds and a lot of different kinds of plants. Today we went to Crystal Garden. I had a really good time. First we saw the garden. It had eatibal plants. Yummy! There were so many plants. Next we went to the butterfly house. But to me it seemed to be the other way around. The worms ate well tried to eat the toads skin. The other toad was trying to eat a worm but ate the lage of another toad. It was fun.
