Patriotism Patriotism means your devoted to your country. America shows a lot of patriotism on the 4th of July. On the fourth of July my family gathers family and friends. Then my family hosts a canoe trip and picnic for everybody at the Platte River. Then we drive away at the end. At my house we set off fireworks. Then we go to the fireworks at Onekama. I'm sure glad my family is patriotic and there's a fourth of July celebration. I love being an American citizen.
Patriotism Patriotism means you are devoted to your country. America shows a lot of patriotism on the 4th of July. Every 4th of July my family goes to a parade. Then we go to the amusement park. Also there is a chalk drawing contest I go to. Last we go to the fireworks at night. I wear red, white and blue all day. I love America!

Cam and I go in the parade sometimes on the 4th of July. We wear red, white, and blue. Cam and I ride our bikes in the parade. Cam rides his Chiper and I ride my bike too. Sometimes my Grandpa drives his big truck. I love being an American.

We go for a boat trip with most of Gerald's relatives. We go on the Plat River for about 3 miles. Then we go to the fair and watch fireworks. It's the funiest thing we do every year. I love being an American.

Patriotism Patriotism means you are devoted to your country. America shows a lot of patriotism on the 4th of July. On the 4th of July me, my mom and dad go to the Coast Guard Station. Then the fire works are done my dad and the people at the Coast Guard Station all salute to the flag. Sometimes there's a horn that goes off when the flag goes up. Sometimes we go to my dad's friend's house. Well at least we did it in Kentucky. One year we did a really fun thing. We played with stink bombs. We put one in a chipmunk hole. That's how we celebrate Patriotism.

Then we wait and then go to the fireworks. Some fireworks are loud. Some are high, and some are low. Our uncle and aunt put out the flags. Our family goes to the parade and the fireworks. The parade is fun because you get beads. Our family is glad we are Americans. Patriotism means I Love America!
Patriotism Patriotism means you are devoted to your country. America shows a lot of Patriotism on 4th of July. My family celebrates by decorating our house in red, white and blue. In the morning I would wake-up and say the Pledge of Allegiance. We'd then soon go to the fire works. After that we'd do a patriotic craft, watch a TV special, or even play outside. Two hours before the fireworks we would have supper. Then we would leave to go to the beach (for the fireworks). At the end of the day my family and I are tired, but glad to be an American.

Sometimes we go to my friend's boat and watch the fireworks. Then sometimes we go to my other friend's house and we watch the fireworks on their hill. It is really fun on the boat and on the hill.

Usually when we get home we pile a mountain of candy, snacks and one of my favorites cotton candy. It's a lot "O" fun. Near around 12:30 I usually say to myself that I can't wait until next year.

Last year my sister wore red, my mom wore white, and I wore blue. We put our flags and decorations. In the afternoon we go to the parade. At the end of the day we have a 4th of July dinner. Later my family goes to my grandmas on Chief Lake and we shoot off fireworks. That's how my family shows patriotism.
