Salmon!

 

I had fun at Bowen Creek in Arcadia.  We let the fish go.  They were happy.  We said, “1,2,3,4,5” and we let the salmon go.  ~Abby

We got the salmon eggs on October 6.  We let them go on May 10.  That was 7 months.  We saw a big fish.  We played by the creek.  We let go of the salmon.  We made logs into the Titanic.  ~Kamryn

Before we got on the bus we had to get the fish from Mrs. Catanese’s class.  Then we named our fish.  I named my fish Dude.  We all counted to 3 and then we let our fish go away.  I really liked raising the fish because they were so cute.  Now I think the fish feel happy to be on their own.  ~Tiffany

First we got the salmon out of the tank.  We released the salmon at Bowen Creek.  It was really fun.  My grandma went with me.  We went to go get the salmon October 6.  We released the salmon May 10th.  I think the salmon are happy with being in the creek because there is more space for them to move around in.  I loved raising the salmon because they were fun to watch.  It was fun playing in the creek.  ~Rhianan

Yesterday, we got to go to Bowen Creek to release the salmon in Arcadia.  We saw a sucker fish.  I think the fish was laying on eggs.  People were poking at the fish.  Playing by the creek was really fun.  People were using little logs as the Titanic.  Some were catching little fish.  Mrs. Catanese and Mrs. Bromley had to fill up plastic bags to put the fish in.  We got the fish Oct. 6 and put them in the creek on May 10.  That was 7 months and 4 days.  Mrs. Catanese counted to 3 and we released the salmon.  I liked raising the salmon, but a lot died.  I liked it because they were fun to watch.  I think they like in at their new home.  ~Mackenzie

We went to Bowen Creek.  It was fun.  Bowen Creek is in Arcadia.  We played by the creek there.  I got a fish to release.  I named him Carl.  We saw a sucker fish.  It was a small one.  Some people fell in the water.  Alyssan, Ashley, Jon, Randy, and I caught a big beetle.  ~Logan

Yesterday we went to release our salmon.  We released them on May 10th, and we got them on Oct. 6th.  We had them for 7 months and 4 days.  The teachers had to put them in plastic bags for us to carry.  My fish died in the bag.  We went to Bowen Creek in Arcadia to release the fish.  It was fun.  ~Spencer

On May 10, 2007, my class let the salmon go.  It was fun.  I liked it a lot.  Some people fell into the water.  We tried to catch minnows.  I loved it.  That is what we did.  ~Keith

The day we let the fish go we had to get the fish out of the fish tank and put the fish in plastic bags.  Then we chose partners.  My partner was Keith.  While I drew pictures, Keith played with the fish.  Then we were there.  Keith and I went to the creek and let the fish go.  ~Kyler

We released the salmon in Bowen Creek.  Bowen Creek is in Arcadia.  We sent logs and sticks through a tunnel.  I saw a huge salmon that lived in the creek.  It was one foot long and I saw another salmon that was a half a foot long.  I had the biggest salmon to let go.    I think we all had fun at Bowen Creek.  ~Brandin

Yesterday I went on a field trip.  We released the salmon.  We counted to 5 and then let them out of the bag into the water.  We watched them go.  We played for awhile.  While we were playing, we saw a big fish.  It was laying eggs.  It was a trout I think.  We caught minnows while we were playing.  We had to babysit the salmon all the way to the creek.  It was fun.  ~Jessica
