| This Saturday we had a basketball game at Bear Lake. All the teams that were there were Brethren, Bear Lake, FreeSoil, Walkerville and Us. The first team we played was Brethren. We won, but I don’t know what the score was. Then we had to wait a couple games to play again. Then we played Walkerville. Then we played another Brethren team. We won those games. After those games we had to wait about an hour to play again. We played Bear Lake. We lost because they kept dribbling the ball. …Quinn |  |
On Saturday we had basketball games. There were four. Our first game was against Brethren. We beat them 4 to 0. Then we played Walkerville. We beat them 10 to 4. Our third game was against another Brethren team. The score was 4 to 6. We won again. Then our coach bought us all hot dogs. Then we watched all the other games. Then we had to vs Bear Lake. On Saturday, January 7, we had four games. We won three of the four. When we played against Bear Lake the score was 6 to 5. There was 9 seconds on the clock and you can only have the ball for 10 seconds. His coach told him to dribble the ball. So we lost to Bear Lake. …Brandon B. |
