The team of 12 girls traveled to Walkerville for their first competition of the year on Saturday, September 24^th.

The team enjoyed and celebrated a 4 for 4 win weekend! Team members that were able to score during the four games include Sierra Hull with 7 points, Amy Kmeicik with 2 points, Emily Bergren with 4 points, Becky Cunningham with 4 points, Kaylan Fitch with 2 points, Brittany Willis with 2 points, Moriah Miller with 4 points, Elizabeth Bergren with 4 points.

Last week end Onekama's fifth grade girls went to walkerville. We played three games. We beat all the teams. One game was a tie, zero to zero. We had to do a tiebreaker from the free throw line. The other team beat us, but we still counted it as a tie. I thought it was fun because we are still undefeated. I hope we win all of our games on Saturday. ...Emily 2, grade 5, 10/7/05

Last week I had a game. I'd played center. Some one hit me so I got to shoot a free throw. I missed the first shot. Then I made the second one. We won by eight. I made the last shot. ...Sierra grade 5, 10/6/05
