The boys played four games
at Bear Lake. We were 2 and 2 . Everyone played
great and had a wonderful time. We won against
both Brethren teams and lost against Freesoil and
Brethren . Both Bobbi and I think that the kids

On Jan 30 we played
Frankfort at their gym. We tied with them
26 to 26. The whole game was back and forth with
both teams playing well, so it was good that

| Feb. 7 |
Tuesday Feb 7th 2006 our
team traveled to Kennedy school in Manistee to
play. We unfortunately did not play very
well and our lack of practice time showed. We
were beat 46 to 13. The boys never gave up.

| Feb. 11 Freesoil Tournament |
On Saturday Feb. 11 2006 we
played at Freesoil in a tournament. It was
a lot better showing for the boys. We beat
Bear Lake 18 to 17. it was really a
defensive struggle. But the boys held their own
in the end. The coaches were very proud of them.
We now advance to the semi finals on Saturday 18,
2006 at Freesoil at 9:00 A.M. We also
have a game on the 15th of Feb. on our home court
in Onekama at 5:00 P.M. ...Thanks,

Our game against Manistee
Catholic Central was lost 24 to 23. The boys
played hard and improvement even though we didn't
win. We had some wonderful passes and looks
at the basket but just could not convert.
It was really nice to see some of the kids that
don't usually get involved playing well. We
had 8 out of 11 kids score points and had some
good stops on defense. We hope they play this
well on Saturday at Freesoil. (Game Photos) |
