Electromagnet Lab Today's experiment was neat. What we did was wrap a wire around a nail and hook it to a battery. It became a magnet. It was fun. ...Moriah Today we made electro magnets. I picked up two paper clips with mine. We curled wire on a nail. Then we hooked up a battery to it. When the battery got hot the paper clip would stay on the nail magnetically.
