Book Bowl was fun. Our team won second place. We got 5 trophies, but there were 6 people on our team, so Brittany will be getting hers later. The Four Bookateers won 1st place by two points! We beat them once, but they beat us twice.
Our team did better than anyone expected. We all had lots of fun at Book Bowl and we wish we could do it again. ...Emily C.B.

Book Bowl

On Thursday May 4th we went to Book Bowl. My team was the Funky Monkeys. We were pretty good, but the Black Sheep and the MCC Sabers beat us so we were eliminated. It was a lot of fun. ...Amy

I was on a Book Bowl team this year called the Funky Monkeys. Our captain was Becky. We were so nervous. The Book Bowl Worms were the first eliminated. Then us. We had a break outside. There was a book fair too, but I didn't get anything. ...Sierra

Book Bowl

My team lost, but one of our teams won 2nd! It was fun to watch them compete in the finals. Every one of them got a 2nd place trophy. I liked Book Bowl. It was a good experience. It was fun to just go on the trip and hand out with friends. Kennedy Elementary is a nice school. We all did really good and it was fun to do. I liked Book Bowl. ...Jessa

We spent the entire day at Kennedy School. After lunch and recess we had finals and semi finals. I was on the team called the Whats. The Whats got second place! ...Kelly
On May 4th we went to Book Bowl. We had three teams from Onekama. Our team was the Book Bowl Worms. Our team lost the first round. It was double elimination, so we got to play again in the losers bracket. We were the first team to be officially eliminated.  It was still fun because we had the day off from school. I got to see my old friend Austin. It was an awesome Book Bowl Day. ...Bryce

I had a fun time at Book Bowl. I played three games. We won the first game we played against the Lakers. We lost the second game to the Sabers. The third game we lost to the Black Sheep. We were tied for a while. Then our points started to drop. Our team was called Funky Monkeys. I didn't like the name, but that was the name. I had lots of fun. ...Daniel
We lost early in the morning so we got to watch other teams the rest of the day. I went to a book store and bought Lord of the Rings and The Series of Unfortunate Events. It was fun. ...Sarah
