I really liked the Badger. I really liked
to play bingo. Me and my mom won three prizes. Then the caller
for bingo asked if anyone had dental floss and my dad said he did so
I won a free pop! I went out and around the ship deck with my
friends. It was fun. ~Austin

It was cool on the Badger. They had Badger bingo, an arcade, movie room, resting room and food courts. They also had a bathroom. My favorite thing to do was to walk around the deck. I also liked Badger bingo because I won a beach ball. ~Becky
On May 23rd Mrs. Brown and Mr. Neph's fifth graders went on the Badger. Mr. Neph and Mrs. Brown didn't go, but we did! It was a lot of fun. It was cool because when you are on the boat you can hardly tell you are moving. On the boat they had a lot of activities. They had bingo, arcade game, name that toon, let's make a deal, and a gift shop. It was very neat to see and learn about the badger and the USS Cobia. The Cobia was at the museum in the water. ~Moriah
Daniel, my dad and I were on
the top deck of the Badger watching the ducks. Then we watched the
people get the rope and cable off of a hook. ~Josh The first thing we did on the trip was put the bus on the ship. The bus and a lot of trucks drove right on the bottom of the boat. Walking the deck was a lot of fun. The wind was so strong it could blow you over if you weren't careful. ~Sarah |
There was a Coast Guard boat in the water next to the Badger. It was cool. The ship was displayed in the museum. Kaylan, Amy, Moriah, Jena, Josh, Daniel, Becky and I are posing for the picture. The Badger trip was fun because I got to see all of lake Michigan. It takes a long time to get to Wisconsin. I went to the arcade. I went to the gift shop to buy a captain's hat. ~Hunter |

On May 23 we went on the Badger. I thought it was awesome. In a Bingo game called blackout I won a crew hat. I got my face painted and played name that tune. I also bought a rubber ear and a tee-shirt. At the museum I went in the USS Cobia. That is a submarine. I saw a lot of other exibits too. ~Annie
We went to the museum in Wisconsin. Inside, there were big fish with big white teeth. The fish were Lake Trout, Shanook Trout and Coho Salmon. ~Hunter
When we got to Wisconsin we saw a museum and got to go on an Army submarine that served in World War II. It was very interesting to know how the men lived on a little submarine in the war. When we started to leave on the Badger we got stuck against the wall in Wisconsin. I thought the wall would break. We got out though and went back across the Lake Michigan. ~Johnny
The top of the
Badger was nice because you could look at the water. The lower level was
nice because it had bingo. It was a lot of fun and I hope I can go
again. ~Curtis When I got on the Badger I watched Narnia. It was a good movie. In the lounge I drank 5 capichenos. They were really good. I had a great time on the Badger. ~Jacob |

Yesterday I went on the Badger. When I first got on the boat I went to the gift shop. I got a mood ring and a necklace. After the boat ride to Wisconsin we went to a museum and toured a submarine. We played in the water works place too. ~Joe
It was 4 hours getting to Wisconsin and 4 hours getting back to Michigan. The boat was 435 feet long. You could fit a foot ball field on the bottom. They could put a lot of trucks there and our bus. I had a lot of fun. ~Amy
We left school at 7:00 sharp. We got to the Badger at 9:00. It didn't leave until 10:00. First I went to the gift shop. I bought a compass for my dad and a snow globe for me. After, I played Bingo. I didn't win anything. In Wisconsin we went to a submarine in the museum. Then back on the Badger I played Bingo again. My luck had not changed. My mom won and gave me a captain's hat. At the gift shop we bought an SS Badger t-shirt. We got back to school at 7:45. ~Elizabeth |
I got a captains whistle. The museum had fish, boats and all kinds of things like a submarine. The submarine had torpedos. It was awesome. The trip was so so cool. ~Josh
My favorite part about the trip was when we went on the submarine tour. It was a real submarine that really was in the World War 2. It had a kitchen and beds and a bathroom. It was so small for so many men. ~Miranda
