This past week the fourth grade classes have been working on mapping. It was fun because we got to choose our own partners. It was a little hard but not too hard. In some parts it was like a crossword puzzle when you can't find a word. Other wise it was fun. We got to use maps (of course) to find things that were on this paper where there were clues to the answers. I had a lot of fun with my partner Claire. It was a cool project. ...Nisha |

Yesterday and the day before we had an assignment that involved Michigan. We had a yellow sheet with roads, cities, and the state. We had a map. The map was so big it took up 2 desks. My project partner was Haley. We weren't the greatest at finding them but we managed. We were stupid on a few of the questions. For example No and Yes was one of the questions. Haley found it. The answer was maybe. Most people thought the assignment was hard. I bet they did, but I thought it was fun. ...Sierra |

The mapping
activity was fun because you got to look all around
Michigan. I liked the activity because we worked well
together. Sami-K was my partner. We sat in the reading
corner on the floor and on the chair. We did a good job I

This Michigan
mapping activity was fun because we got to explore
Michigan. We got to see where some places are. We got to
look at a grid. It was fun looking at it. The second
group of problems were a little harder but fun. The first

In Social
Studies the 4th graders did a project on the Michigan
map. I worked with Sierra. We worked together by doing
the equal amount of work. Sierra and I got along great,
so the work got done faster! The map was a grid map. That
