Richard got an education at Whittier College and Duke Law School. He also married Patricia Ryan Nixon; He ended up becoming a lawer and businessman. Then he became a republican president. Richard was also a Quaker. When he became president it was during the end of the Vietnam War. He also liked to go golfing and bowling. Richard M. Nixon died on April 22, 1994 in New York.

James Madison was our fourth president. James was married to Dolley Payne Todd Madison. He was born March 16,1751 in Port Conway King George Virginia. Everyone called him " but a witherd little apple-John. James worked at being the leader in the Virginia assembly. James Madison attended to Princeton College and became a great president. James was a republican. James Madison, a great president ,died June 28,1836 in Mont. Pelier in Virginia. Another thing he did was participated in the framing of the Virginia Constitution in 1776. James Madison was a great president.

Gerald R. Ford

Gerald Ford was born in 1913, at Omaha, Nebraska. He served as president for three years. His wife’s name is Elizabeth Bloomer. He graduated at Yale University. Gerald Ford was a lieutenant commander in the Navy. He was the first president chosen under the twenty-fifth amendment. He was our thirty-eighth president. Gerald Ford’s political party is republican, and his nickname was Gary, and Gerald Ford still walks the earth today!

President John Adams was the second president of the United States. He became president between the French and British war. Adams married, " Abigail Smith Adams." Adams was born on October 30th 1735 in Braintee Norfolk, Massachusetts. He was president from 1797 — 1802 ( one term ) . he went to Harvard University, to be a lawyer . His religion was Unitarian. Adams was a federalist. Just before the election Adams arrived in the Capitol City, to take his relatives to the White House. Then on July 4th 1826 in Braintee Norfolk, he died later that day.

Benjamin Harrison was the twenty- third president. He was a president for a term. A term is four years long. A lot of people called him Kid Gloves. He was born on August 20,1833 at North Bend, Ohio. He married Caroline Lavinia Scot Harrison. Before he became president he was a lawyer. Benjamin Harrison went to Miami University, and his religion is presbyterain. His political party is Republican. Benjamin Harrison was the same height as James Madison. He died on March 13,1901 in Indianapolis. Indiana.

Dwight Eisenhower

Dwight Eisenhower was the thirty fourth president. He was born October 14, 1890 in Denison Texas. He married Mamie Geneva Doud Eisenhower in 1916. Dwight Eisenhower excelled in sports in high school, and received an appointment to West Point. His occupation before he became president was he was in the army during the Cold War. President Eisenhower’s political party was Modern Republicanism. Dwight Eisenhower was Supreme Commander of the troops invading France. President Eisenhower died March 28, 1969 in Washington D.C.

William Howard Taft was the 27th president. He was born on September 15, 1857 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He grew up there, and later graduated from Yale University. He married Helen Herron Taft. Taft became a Federal Circuit Judge. He loved to work in the political field. The Republican Taft won the presidential election in 1909. He was president for four years, from 1909 to 1913. Taft was a Unitarian. He died on March 8, 1930 in Washington, D.C.

Soon after college he went to, Harvard University, and got a masters, of business Administration. He was a owner of a oil and gas business. After college he married Laura Bush. They had twins Jenna and Barbara. He was elected in 2001, he ran against Drew Carey. He’s been president for six years. He is the 46th president of the United States, and is the current president.

Calvin Coolidge was the 30th president. His terms were from 1923 to 1929. He was usually silent in his meetings so they called him Silent Cal. He was born July, 4,1872 in Plymouth Vermont. He married Grace Anna Goodhue Coolidge. Calvin Coolidge studied to be a lawyer. President Coolidge went to college at Amherst College in North Hampton Massachusetts. His political party was a republican. His religion is a Congregationalist. Two interesting facts are that he chose not to run for president in 1928. Another is that before his death in 1933 he confinded to an old friend I’m afraid I no longer fit in with these times. Calvin Coolidge died on January 5th 1933 in North Hampton Massachusetts.

Ulysses Grant was the eighteenth president. He served two terms as president. Ulysses Grant was born on April 27th, in the year of 1822. Ulysses was born at Point Pleasant, Ohio. He went to collage at West Point. Before he was president, he served as an army officer, and General in the Civil War. Ulysses Grant married Julia Dent Grant. His political party was Republican. Ulysses Grant died July 23, 1885 in Mount McGregor, New York.

When he was in collage he went to Phillips Academy of Andover. When he got out of collage he became a soldier and went to World War 2. When he came back he had 6 children. George’s nickname was Poppy because he is the father of the president today. He was the president from 1989-1993. His political party was republican. These are some facts about George H.W. Bush.

John Tyler was our tenth president. He was born on March 29, 1790 in Charles City, Virginia. John went to college of William and Mary. He became a lawyer. John married Letitia Christian, who died during his presidential term. Then he married Julia Gardiner. John’s religion was Episcopalian. John also loved to play the violin. He served as president during 1841-1845. He died seventeen years later on Jan. 18th in Richmond, Virgina.
