James Garfield

James Garfield was the 20th president of our country. He was born in Cuyahoga County in Ohio in1831. Educated at Williams College he later on became a professor. He became a brigade general during the civil war. After the war he became a republican and earned the nickname dark horse. He married Lucretia Rudolph Garfield. His religion was discipiles of Christ. During the election Garfield defeated Windfield Scott Hancock. He died Sem 19,1881, At a Washington railroad station. He was assinated. He only served one year.

John Tyler

President John Tyler was born in March 29, 1790 in Virginia. He surfed for 4 years in 1841 to 1845. He was married to Letitia Christian Tyler and Julia Gariner Tyler. In college he studied law. He was a Representative, Govemor and senator. His political party was a Whig. He was not elated. His religion was Episcopalian. He died in January 18, 1862 in Richmond, Virginia. The two interesting was not elected. The other thing was that he was govner. Prestent Tyler was a good prestent.

President Polk was the eleventh president. People called him "Dark Horse." He was born on November 2, 1795 in Meckleburg County, North Carolina. President Polk married Sarah Polk. James Polk’s Education was he graduated with honors in 1818 from the University of North Carolina. Before he was president he was a lawyer. The religion of James Polk was a Presbyterian. He was a democrat. He traveled on train a lot. President Polk died on June 15th, 1849 in Nashville, Tennessee. He died from exhaustion and hard work soon after he left the office.

John Adams

John Adams was born in Massachusetts, Bay colony in 1735, October 30. His Nickname was the Atlus of Independence. He became President in 1797-1801. He got the job when he was 61 years old. His education was to be a lawyer. He went to college at Harvard School. John Adams was the runner up after George Washington. John Adams’s runner up was Thomas Jefferson. John Adams married Abigail Smith Adams. John Adams died on December,4, 1826.

John Kennedy was the 35th president. He served 3yrs as president. From 1961 to 1963. John Kennedy was born in Brookline, Massachusetts. He married Jacqueline Lee Bouvard Kennedy. He graduated from Harvard University. After he graduated he entered the navy. His religion is Roman Catholic. John Kennedy’s political party is democrat. He died on November 22nd 1963 in Dallas, Texas. Two interesting facts are that he was the youngest man to be elected and the youngest president to die.

Andrew Johnson was the 17th president. President Johnson served for 4 years. He was born on December 29th, 1808 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Andrew Johnson had no religion. He also never had a formal education. Eliza McCardle Johnson is the one who married Andrew Johnson. He was a democratic. His job was a tailor and a public official. Radical Republicans in congress moved vigorously to change Johnson’s program. He finally died July 31st, 1875 in Carter’s statoin Tennessee.

George Washington was our first president of the United States. Gorge Washington’s nickname was the father of his country. He was president for 8 years. February 22,1732 in Mount Vernon Virginia is when he was born and where he lived when he was young. Martha Dandrige Washington was George’s wife. His religion was Episcopalian. George Washington was a federalist. George Washing started being president when he was 57 years old. He was in the military, arts, and western expansion. George Washington enjoyed less than 3 years of retirement. He had no collage education. Sadly George Washington our first president died of a throat infection December 14, 1799 in mount Vernon Virginia. George Washington was a great president.

Andrew Johnson was the 17 th president. Andrew was the president from 1865-1869.Andrew Johnson was born December 29,1809 in Raleigh, North Carolina. He was married to Eliza Johnson. The two facts that I found were that Andrew’s wife taught him how to read and Andrew never went to school. Andrew Johnson had a lot of jobs. His political party was Republican. If Andrew Johnson was alive today he would be 198 year old. Andrew Johnson died July 31,1875 at Carters station Tennessee. Andrew Johnson was a good president.

George W. Bush

George W. Bush is are president right now. He also a business man as well .He is serving for 8 years. His nickname is little George witch is kind of funny. George W. Bush was born in July 6,1946 in New Havens Connecticut. He is married to Laura Bush and has two kids. George W. Bush religion is Methodist George W. Bush is still our president today.

Rutherford B. Hayes was the 19 president of the United States of America. President Hayes was born on October 4,1822.President Hayes was also born in Ohio. After Kenyon College and Harvard law school he also became one of the first republican lawyers. President Hayes was the same religion as some of the other presidents a Whig. After a while he married Lucy ware Webb. As most of the presidents he had a nickname and it is dark hors president. When he served as president for 4 years, and during those 4 years he banished drugs from the whit house and disrupted election in American history. After a while he died January 17,1893 in Fremont Ohio.

President Ford went to University of Michigan football team then went to Yale, were he served as assistant coach, while earning his law degree. People called President Ford Gary. He served as president for 4 years. President Ford is still alive. Ford was born in Omaha, Nebraska in 1913. Ford was the 38th president.

Garald R Ford is marred to Elizabeth Bloomer Ford. His religion is an Episcopalian. Ford’s political party is a republican. President Ford’s occupation is a lawyer Navy comander. Two interesting facts are that he’s still alive. The second interesting fact is that president Ford won the republican nomination for the presidency in 1976, but lost the election to his demoratie opponent , former governor Jimmy Carter of Georgia. That is the life of Garald R Ford being a president.

Warren G Harding was the 29th president of the U.S.A. He was born November 18th in 1865. His wife was Florence Killing Harding. He died in 1923 visiting SanForsisco California. His religion was a Democrat. He served as a president from 1865 to 1859. He was a president for 4 years. Warrens job was an editor. Warren also made movies on the service. He served many years.

President Pierce was the 14th president. He served for 4 years, 1853~1857.Pierce was born on November 26,1804 in Hillsboro, New Hampshire. Pierce went on to collage at Bowdoin. He disited to be a loior. Later on President Pierce got married to Jane Means.

They both became Episcopalian. Pirece was a democrat. He served in the Mexican War. He also had a piece of property in the Mexican Land. Sadly Pierce past away on October 8th 1869 in Concord. New Hampshire. He was a great president.
