Visiting the Ludington State Park the students found dragon fly nymphs, leeches, mayfly nymphs, water boatmen and water fleas!

Students did a  pond study. They caught a dragon fly nymph, a strider, and an algae.

They used a net, a bucket, and a magnifying glass.

They saw fish and a turtle.

Students visited the museum and watched a movie about the Great Lakes.

After examining their finds, the students put everything back in the pond.
